Dear PITT-

It’s been bothering me for quite a while that children can no longer have gender dysphoria without the word “trans” coming up in the conversation. For the entirety of the history of the English language, until very recently, sex and gender were synonymous.

We were sold a bill of goods that “trans people” felt they were born in the wrong body and their brains were actually the opposite gender. The pharma surgical industry supported academics in forcing a separate definition of these words and for some reason, an ideology was embraced as real science. Real science surrounding trans ideology has been suppressed by the same forces who brought it into being.

I would have fallen into this trap as a child. By the age of three, I knew I didn’t want the life of childbearing and housework, so I wanted to be a boy. I knew I wasn’t a boy and my family found it mildly amusing and allowed me freedoms from the trappings of girlhood. By the time I hit puberty, my gender dysphoria had resolved and I embraced my strong female self.

I have watched many documentaries by and about people who call themselves trans. What strikes me is that every single one of them says “I always wanted to be the opposite sex”. While others may disagree, I find this to be a HUGE difference. Kids want to be a lot of things for a while then go on to something else. Feeling you ARE is different (to me) than WANTING to be. I wanted to be a boy but knew damn well I wasn’t. What would I have said or done if there were meds and surgery back then?

I wasn’t like the other girls as a child. I dressed in my brother’s hand me downs and played with the boys mostly, only played with girls when forced - and I had to be the daddy or husband if I did. Girls just played house, not Army or cowboys and Indians or football or anything fun.

My cousin was a girly girl.

Here’s me at 10 years old, wanting to be a boy.

And post puberty, proudly female.

Keep up the good fight. I am one of the lucky ones, born before the insanity began.

I asked my daughter if gender nonconforming people were trans. She said yes. I am sure she would say yes if I asked about androgynous people. What lies our world tells to feed their agenda!
