Amazing read, I have a 12 yr old girl, very empathetic, likely ADD, her sister is autistic and they do share similarities but no diagnosis for her and I am not taking her anywhere near doctors to explore further right now as it's not safe to do so in Canada. The school socially transitioned her for 4 months without our knowledge. She is being homeschooled now and seeing a therapist I was lucky to know who is gender critical/rational. But we have not been able to get her to speak about trans. She just clams up. It was helpful to hear what these men wish their parents had said/done. It's so hard to wait for the shoe to drop. I'm trying to actively listen but it seems a one way street because she just won't speak on the topic. I tell her she has done nothing wrong, that this ideology preys on children especially wonderful sensitive kids like her. And the teachers. What chance do they have when the schools do this. I need therapy myself for the rage and disbelief that this is happening in broad daylight. It feels like child abduction, I don't feel safe to live in this country anymore, such distrust for authority now, but realize it's many countries and there's nowhere to run and hide. The voices of detransitioners, their stories will be the biggest weapon to bring this cult down. Thank you to all these men speaking out now. Keep sharing. You have no idea how one little detail you share helps a parent or another young transitioned get through this.
