Recently our parent group had the chance to speak with and listen to a small number of very impressive men who once identified as transgender, but no longer do, aka detransitioners. We were eager to hear from them, as each of the attending parents has a son swept up in the gender cult. These men present a possible path out of the ideology that we hoped to learn from.

My heart broke hearing how the ‘toxic masculinity’ narrative has had a role in shattering these young men’s sense of worth as human beings and as men at such a critical time. For boys becoming men, healthy male relationships and mentoring is so critical. Gay men are no less ‘male’ and have an even deeper need to be engaged in emotionally healthy and platonic friendship and mentorship.
Dads, you gotta step up. Your sons need you and your presence, emotionally and physically. They need to know that you, the most important man in their life, that you see them, know them, and believe in their ability to be heroes in their own fashion.
So the goal of the trans movement is to rid the world of cis white people. Make the children feel guilty because they are a white toxic male who will prey on women and minorities or a weak, oppressed female who will be preyed upon by men. I'm so livid this is happening but thankful for these courageous people who are speaking out! This has to stop!
Is it possible to say “some radical feminists” instead of “the radical feminists?” Just like men aren’t a monolith, neither are feminists. It would be more accurate and less inflammatory. Thanks.

What an incredible contribution to PITT's library of support for families! It's so important to recognize our culture's veneration of victimhood and who that serves. I appreciate the range of responses from parents that demonstrates how little control we actually have over our children's experience--that the best we can do is to remain curious and in connection; modeling what we want for our children; learning to accept that their journey will be painful but the beauty, courage, and wisdom that emerges from that agony can give us hope for our own children who we can't protect from Life.

In the current climate where the toxic feminist are putting down “ white cis men” and toxic masculinity “ and probably loving this new transgender movement where men and boys are castrated, this article personifies that we still have...strong men in our society who are standing up and saying “ NO”! You don’t need to be a brain surgeon to figure out the munchausen by proxy cases. Instead of social workers and medical professionals removing children from these homes, they are sending them to gender reassignment clinics for hormone therapy and genital mutilation to appease to delusions and narcissistic parents. We are not a “Brave New World”. We are weak and too scared to save the children.
The belief that we transitioned for sexual gratification isn't accurate and to be honest, it's a pipe dream for your bias to imagine detrans men this way.
Most of us were exposed to adult content from an extremely young age and that experience severely damaged our sense of self, but to say it was the single reason for someone to transition is disingenuous.
As for invading womens spaces ago, most of us struggle to leave the house to begin with and when we did, we mostly avoided using any such spaces from what I've seen. So If thats what you think we set out to do, we did a shit job out of it.

Many reasons. One of them is that the parent who wrote this piece conveniently omitted that all these men had a degrading pornified image of women in their heads when they decided to troon out.
Curious how you came to "all these men" especially when some of them are homosexual? Are these men not vulnerable to the same external influences that have captured our daughters? From my perspective, many embody the same profile of sensitivity, black and white thinking, high intelligence, creativity, etc. I'm so grateful for these courageous men who are taking a stand. I think the "fetishists" are highly unlikely to detransition. Those that do detransition probably do so when they recognize the differences between themselves and those that still campaign to "invade women's spaces."
Religious conversion (aka dentransition) cannot alter one’s sexual urges. Castration can. Also, homosexual men are behind the practice of “womanface” also known as drags. The practice has a substantial sexual side to it. More to the point, good parents are always on their child’s side, unquestionably and unconditionally, as they should be. However, that also means that they won’t be able to recognize or acknowledge the darker side of the story.
What strikes me most, apart from the bizarre convoluted discourses of TRA, is the relative simplicity, at least in principle, of the first moves towards detransition: allowing for critical reflection on the “feelings” of being trans and finding therapists who will enable this; and as one put it “standing on the grass” getting out and away from the internet, escaping the web of false narratives in the virtual world and breathing in the air of the real.
Fascinating! And quite hopeful as the mother myself of one who's deeply in the cult right now. And SO much, as you say, what nobody else wants to hear: he is not an evil fetishist invader but a struggling lost soul who thinks he's finally found the magic right answer to all his pain.
Instead, the medical industry would like to feast on his pain and pedophiles are chomping at the bit to get a taste.
