And, with the covid vaccines, are the bribes, ice cream, gift cards, college scholarships, etc ...
And the villification of parents if they feel there is not sufficient basis to inject their children, with things proclaimed to be safe by a system that's fully captured, and in denial of reality on so many fronts ...
I'm not making a direct comparison to the outcomes .. plenty of people suffer no noticeable harms from vaccines ... and some vaccines (altho not the C-19 ones), prevent transmission of diseases to others. But the systems behind both have a pathological intolerance for challenges, a way of instantly demeaning anyone who dares ("Don't listen to the ANTI-s!"), and make proclamations that aren't supported by evidence .. and want children to take their medical products, even if it means rupturing the sacred parent - child relationship ...
And both have become so pathologically absurd in their loyalties, and the amount of injured so clear, and growing, and angry ... that they won't last long in controlling the narrative ...

What makes me think it's a woman is that in the section, "My Son Today," in the first or second sentence it refers to the son's "other mother," making it sound like the author is also a female and is a mother to the boy.
Also, the author never refers to themselves as male or female other than that one reference to the other mother.

I’m not sure your 10 yr old boy is going to be able to articulate the pain from the damage done by your ex anytime soon. Boys generally speaking, take longer to wire their emotional and language parts of the brain than girls do. They often genuinely don’t know *how* to put feelings into words and get very easily overwhelmed by powerful ones. What I do know is that boys (and men) are significantly more likely to be open and emotionally vulnerable when positioned ‘shoulder to shoulder’ or engaged in a task like walking or doing something with their hands. Face to face, whilst vital for women and their emotional needs for verbal intimacy is often (unconsciously) interpreted as an attempt to intimidate or dominate by men and by boys who are smaller and weaker than adults.
The best time to have a difficult conversation with my husband is usually in the car on a drive somewhere. The task of driving helps keep him more emotionally regulated and focused on the issue proverbially ‘in front’ of us. Coffee walks are also great for this, but we rarely get them in anymore in the throes of raising toddlers.
Maybe what your son needs is a regular ritual doing something (a walk… day trip somewhere in a car, heck a table top game like Risk, might do the job) without an agenda. Your first few times will probably be very quiet or be discussing other stuff, keep going and keep the space open for him to do what he needs with it. He might eventually open up as he matures, he might not, but it’s never wasted time.

I believe that the vast majority of people like the preschool director who are caught up in this are good people with good intentions who genuinely think they are heroes and saving lives. But I still believe they truly *think* they are doing the right thing. The point I’m trying to make is that when people feel so strongly they are doing these things as a good person, it is very hard for them to see a different perspective. Have any of us changed our minds and become pro-child transition by being shamed, called evil, bigoted people, and being accused of trying to harm kids with our ignorance and stupidity? My ultimate goal is to get people to see the harm they are doing and I think appealing to their intentions of wanting to do good and help children is our best chance for getting them to hear us and take a different approach.
I do NOT believe they are are good people, especially if these directors are not brand new. They have been around kids for years. Kids have NOT changed. If they don't want to hear a more complicated truth and just do what makes them feel good, they are certainly not "good people" in my book. If nothing else, she is doing the job she is unqualified for because she has the level of thinking same as the 3 year old kids in her charge. (I would make a terrible nurse or a doctor, so no matter how much compassion I may feel for the sick I should not go into the profession). It's not an idle discussion. I think it's important to know what we are fighting - stupidity or evil. There is certainly room for both, but it is important to know in individual cases since we probably need different weapons for the two. In my opinion, the evil should be fought through the brute force of lawsuits, legislations, calling out names and shaming. In some cases ignorance or stupidity can be fought through somewhat gentler education on the iq-appropriate level. (But if people are not receptive), we should go on to lawsuits and such.

And, why would some of these people like US Assistant Health Secretary Richard/Rachael Levine and John/Jennifer Pritzker, etc. push so hard for this for little children? And his relative, J.B. Pritzker would like to be president. Maybe we are headed for a Joseph Epstein level scandal?
I’ve been thinking the same thing. Just yesterday this landed in my inbox as a subscriber to her blog. She is a child sexual abuse survivor and writes (under a pseudonym) a lot of incisive commentary on our culture and current events. Her thoughts may resonate with yours.

So, at the very least, it is arguable that our culture now regards racism as worse than pedophilia. That means pedophilia has grown significantly more accepted and less despised, even in my short life."

So the criteria for diagnosing gender dysphoria in children are largely based on whether the child engages in or expresses interest in activities stereotypically associated with the opposite sex. Yet if the child engages in activities associated with their biological sex, it’s still gender dysphoria because they are a gender nonconforming child of the opposite sex? It’s so clear there is only one “right” answer and everything will be contorted to get to that answer.
Exactly so! There is always an explanation why the kid "is trans". The answer is never "not trans" further demonstrating the cult nature of this movement. Your socially awkward teen girl is feminine and likes boys? No problem! She's a gay boy!

I believe that the vast majority of people like the preschool director who are caught up in this are good people with good intentions who genuinely think they are heroes and saving lives. They believe they are in a critical moment of history choosing the right side and fighting the good fight. They view it as a simple story of “good” vs “bad” and taking the side they are told is “good” is easy, feels good, and there’s no cost to them. A person who feels that way doesn’t want to hear that it’s actually much more complicated and that they may be doing harm.
To clarify, I am NOT saying the ideology is correct or that they are not doing harm. They are completely abandoning logic and what they should know about child and adolescent development. But I still believe they truly *think* they are doing the right thing. The point I’m trying to make is that when people feel so strongly they are doing these things as a good person, it is very hard for them to see a different perspective. Have any of us changed our minds and become pro-child transition by being shamed, called evil, bigoted people, and being accused of trying to harm kids with our ignorance and stupidity? My ultimate goal is to get people to see the harm they are doing and I think appealing to their intentions of wanting to do good and help children is our best chance for getting them to hear us and take a different approach.
Yes, I agree that educating those who are ignorant on the issue is the right way to go.
I do NOT believe they are are good people, especially if these directors are not brand new. They have been around kids for years. Kids have NOT changed. The ideology has changed, as have the people in power. This does not make the ideology correct, nor the “intellects” who espouse it. People who have worked with children for years and know them should advocate for them, even when their own parents won’t, even when it may cost them their jobs. The children are innocent, pawns in a game they don’t understand. Hell, I don’t even understand it.!Thank God for this man who stood up for his son and had the means to defeat evil.

If they don't want to hear a more complicated truth and just do what makes them feel good, they are certainly not "good people" in my book. If nothing else, she is doing the job she is unqualified for because she has the level of thinking same as the 3 year old kids in her charge. (I would make a terrible nurse or a doctor, so no matter how much compassion I may feel for the sick I should not go into the profession). It's not an idle discussion. I think it's important to know what we are fighting - stupidity or evil. There is certainly room for both, but it is important to know in individual cases since we probably need different weapons for the two. In my opinion, the evil should be fought through the brute force of lawsuits, legislations, calling out names and shaming. In some cases ignorance or stupidity can be fought through somewhat gentler education on the iq-appropriate level. (But if people are not receptive), we should go on to lawsuits and such.
