From Christmas Letter: It's been three years since my daughter tried to take her own life for the first time and got locked up in a hospital. Simultaneously, her twin brother started on cross hormones. The last time I saw him, he looked pitiful -skinny with his lion's mane like hair destroyed by colored chemicals, dressed cheaply in over sexualized shreds. Of course, he demanded I accept him as a woman. Of course, I couldn't. I was called TERF and the rest of it.
Wonderful, understanding Miriam Grossman tells us to never give up hope. Well, there is this German proverb: Hope dies last but will eventually.

Lost in Trans Nation: A Child Psychiatrist’s Guide Out of the Madness

Throughout our country, atrocities are taking place in doctor’s offices and hospital operating rooms. Physically healthy children and adolescents are being permanently disfigured and sometimes sterilized. Those youth say they’re transgender, and we—their parents, teachers, therapists, and doctors—are supposed to agree with their self-diagnosis and take a back seat as they make the most consequential decision of their lives: to alter their bodies in order to, we are told, “align” them with their minds.
This would not be acceptable in any other field of medicine. Indeed, the treatments our medical authorities and Washington call “crucial” and “life-saving” have been banned in progressive Sweden, Finland, and Britain.
Dr. Miriam Grossman is a child and adolescent psychiatrist whose practice consists of trans-identified youth and their families. In Lost in Trans Nation, she implores parents to reject the advice of gender experts and politicians and trust their guts—their parental instincts—in the face of an onslaught of ideologically driven misinformation that steers them and their children toward risky decisions they may end up mourning for the rest of their lives.
SOCIAL MEDIA THAT NAILED IT
This is an oldie but goodie. In July of 2023, Johns Hopkins posted this online glossary on their Gender and Sexuality Resources site. They defined the word “lesbian” as a “non-man attracted to non-men". It was subsequently taken down after an online uproar. Just a reminder that the post may be gone but the ideology behind it remains.

I was just on the Cleveland Clinic website. They refer to women as AFAB. Assigned Female At Birth. This bankrupt ideology is deeply, deeply ingrained in our top medical institutions.
One has to really wonder what is going on at john Hopkins, the recent expose of their DEI statement on "privilege" is quite shocking
