I am so sorry that you have had to go through this, after I assuming you have left Ukraine for the safety of your children. And clearly, the people and institutions that you entrusted your fragile daughter escaping a war zone, have let you down terribly!
I hope that someone via PITT or another organization can connect you to excellent lawyers, who can help you take legal action against the all the people and institutions that have done this to you, your family, and especially your daughter, and your son. I pray you have the strength to take legal action not only for your family but other families, but respect, what ever you are able to do. Just writing this, is a step to help you and others.

The more and more I read from devastated parents like you, the more convinced I am that this is mental illness. I am so, so sorry for your pain and heartbreak. So many things you and other parents describe sound so familiar—we went through similar with a child, but pre-internet, pre-social media, and thank God she got proper mental health care and CBT and DBT. While her life is still a struggle in many ways, she is healthy and whole. It is appalling that doctors, therapists, and teachers jumped on the trans train so quickly, without proper research. All dissent was shot down, and those of us with clear heads were called “phobic”—just like during covid—any questioning of fauci, et al was shot down immediately and suppressed by the government. Now, of course, we know that we were right all along. This makes it so clear that there was a concerted effort to plant this horrid idea with a lot of help from big money [ie, pritzker family, soros, etal], big Pharma [tons of $$ for the doctors & therapists], and big teachers unions—can we say “big education”? Do I sound like a conspiracy theorist? I don’t care; it’s true, and some of us have known all along.
To be called a "conspiracy theorist" these days reflects that the one doing the labeling is programmed and still unaware. Thank you, Elizabeth, and all who research and speak out, without fear of being chastised.
A "conspiracy theorist" is simply a person who figures out the lie sooner than others do. BTW the term "conspiracy theory" was first used by the CIA to malign anyone with an alternative idea about the Kennedy assassination. And we all know how honest and moral the CIA is!
Not sure about a mental illness. It's more like a common, human-induced, contagious society-wide illness fostered by greed and power (teachers, politicians, and doctors), plus a large dose of emotional terrorism, threats, bullying, fear, lies, and conformity.

As we now, Oone of the most popular, powerful, status-making diagnoses is declaring oneself transgender. Teachers preach transgenderism in the classroom and the popularity and attention that accrues to kids who adopt this so-called identity are hard to resist.
I assume there are kids suffering from bipolar disorder and so on, but "being trans" guarantees attention of a type that surpasses the numbers of kids who are diagnosed as bi-polar. Kids today have a wide array of identities to choose from, from gay to non-binary to polyamorous and so on. Last I heard, there are 72 "genders" to choose from. That's more than all the flavors of ice cream!
We left Massachusetts after losing our daughter to this madness. My husband just couldn’t stand to be around the liberal sickness anymore after Covid.
