We have been estranged from our daughter for over 3 years now. Our story began in the Fall of 2016 when my daughter declared that she was transgender. She had just had her senior pictures taken for her high school yearbook, for which she wore a short red dress, jewelry and make-up. She had never shown signs of gender confusion so this new identification took me completely by surprise. The terminology that she used indicated that she must have learned this on the Internet. I knew this was serious and so my husband and I immediately sought the help of a therapist who specialized in LGBT teens. This turned out to be a huge mistake as the therapist just affirmed her male identity, validating her belief that she was born in the wrong body.
I am so sorry to hear about your tragedy. When our family was bombed by the cult mid way through our daughter's high school years (grooming had been going on for a few years but we didn't know) the leader of the "Gay-Straight Alliance" group was electronically contacting a younger sibling asking for any information re: "abuse" like "denying medical care" (ie, cross sex hormones) and talking about CPS. Suddenly smug 20 something teachers and parents of other teens we knew were acting like we'd become terrible people and joyously calling our daughter "he". It is much better not to have a therapist than to go to an affirming one. The school was suggesting such a one for our daughter and also suggesting I needed a separate therapist myself in order to accept the dogma. This is indeed a cult.
We must fight the evil monster that lurks in the internet. No easy task but we have no choice.
We parents can turn our grief into action. It is our genes that have been stamped out by this eugenics program. Our daughters are sterilised by deceit, their lies believed.
I too was accused of making my daughter homeless. She left home to move in with another girl changing gender. She told her brother where she was, but not me.
The UK government quickly affirms these deluded girls, putting them in “safe” lodgings where they can be groomed into believing in their psychotic delusion. Parents are ignored and blamed if they try to hang on to believing that their child’s sex is what we always believed it was.
This is an attack on the foundations of society. Sex is immutable, based on biological facts, not feelings. Once people identify according to how they feel, sanity is abandoned. Feelings change.
Yes. And it is a notion they might easily leave behind but for all the trusted authorities around them affirming and celebrating. They are brought to the place of crazy step by small step (=groomed).
This cult is a for profit pyramid scheme of deceit and obstinate superficiality. It is unfortunate to hear of stories like this. I too. am shunned by my sons, but because their wealthy, powerful tech executive father says he is female and deserves the Mom title too, erasing my role in gestating, laboring their births and raising them without child support for extensive periods. I wish I had more children to hang onto, but I have adopted and been adopted, as family by close friends who agree that my ex husband is still a man.
