i suspect it is misleading to lump BLTGQ together. i suspect that the proportion of the population that is homosexual is larger than the proportion who would be transgender, without the influence of online propaganda.

i also suspect that among actual homosexuals, some are strongly and singularly attracted to their own sex, while others are more flexible. those latter may sometimes identify as binary

and let's remember that 'identifying as' one or another demographic category is based on both internal perceptions and external reality.

The worst is surveys (I’ve seen some) that ONLY ask something like “do you consider yourself to be a member of the LGBTQ+ community” with no distinction drawn between sexual orientation and “gender identity.”
