No one is "transgender." This was a movement first of heterosexual men wanting access to Lesbians against our will, invading our community, taking over our hard-won spaces and organizations, re-writing our history, and, for the few who say no, sending us rape and death threats. It's horrific to see them add themselves so the media refers to "LGBTQIA" etc. when the T are doing vile and repulsive things that we want no part of, ever.

Few even know about the murders of women by men claiming to be "trans."

Meanwhile, vulnerable children are conned and drawn into this dangerous, harmful horror....

I agree that transgender is separate from sexual preference. That's one reason I don't understand why it's taught in schools as part of sexuality. They piggybacked on all the work that gay and lesbian people did to gain acceptance.

I think this is a lovely piece whether one has a religious perspective or not - although I am skeptical that the Trans movement was ever about a "plea for understanding and rights". I think it just masqueraded under that guise.

But, Dr. Stephen Levine would agree that the cries are cries of pain. I took these notes from a conversation he had, reflecting on his 40 Years in Gender Medicine:

- How "Gender" isn't different from any other manner where people are expressing pain

- Trans-id falls under "barriers to being loved". As an example he discussed a husband and wife he saw where the husband overcame a "need" for using his and her boxing gloves prior to sex once he was helped to understand/find where the desire came from.

- There is self hatred/masochism/punishing oneself in transvestism.

- The 2% regret rate for "gender" medicalization is false.

- You amputate your breasts and maybe you no longer have "breast dysphoria" but you still have "gender dysphoria". Think about that one! It doesn't ever end.

- Even those who insist they are "happy - this is who they are" when asked about various measures of how life is going - it's not good post medicalization.

- When Stephen Levine goes to conferences on schizophrenia, there are no schizophrenics in the audience booing as with "gender" sufferers!

I told my trans identified daughter: real love lives in truth. False love feeds on lies. Sadly, they have been groomed to believe the opposite is true. But I will not relent, and I will never lie to her. I believe that someday the truth will and must prevail over these kids and wake them from the spell they are under.

I was doomscrolling on Instagram today (I'm not proud) and a post popped up by a trans identified man, saying how happy he is after 7 years of HRT. The post had a load of hashtags and one of them was #DeathBeforeDetransition, and I couldn't help but comment that there are lots of impressionable young people who could see that and take it seriously, and that he shouldn't be promoting such extreme ideology.

I don't know how representative of trans people he was but I found it pretty unnerving and unpleasant

I am worried that young people caught up in trans are doubling down--due to the pushback (Trump policies). They feel under attack. It's a very politicalized identity. I 100% support no medicalization for young people, single sex spaces & sports, I am worried for those who are developing a persecution complex.

The guy who posted on Instagram was an adult before he transitioned but yes you're right. It doesn't help that people are so polarised over Trump - people who hate Trump will object to anything he does, even if it's something sensible like restricting gender medicalisation. It's tragic that those young people who have been told they need that 'care' will feel persecuted when they are denied it, rather than realise they were tricked into wanting it

I was reading an article by Chris Stefanick, the author of Real Life Catholic on his birthday. He mentioned the chances of each and every one of us actually existing and being able to read this right now is 1 in 400 trillion! A Baby girl is born with 2,000,000 eggs and a man produces 200,000 sperm a day. And that’s just one given day. If your relatives hadn’t come together that day…no you.

And what if, 10 generations ago, your ancestors hadn’t met. Again, no you. The chances are not just luck you were loved into existence by God!

Thank you for your thoughts and inclusion of God in the grand plan of everything that exists including everyone reading this. It is my opinion that that the reason there is so much confusion and evil in the world is due to the denial of God. We who have faith but haven’t not seen him are the truly lucky ones.

Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed."

John 20:29(NASB)

The biologist Richard Dawkins makes a similar point in his writings, but not from a religious perspective. In fact, he goes even farther back into evolutionary development, pointing out the lucky survival of humble mammals when the dinasaurs seemed dominant.

I prefer the word of God not the word of man. A biologist is strictly that a person relying on empirical evidence not the truth of God. By the way who created genes? Did thy just appear out of nowhere? If empirical evidence is required then how do you explain love … is there any empirical evidence for that?

I often pray for the children who have fallen into this pit, and for their parents whose suffering even surpasses that of the children because of our bottomless love for them. One of my kids, now in her 20's got a smartphone way too early. We were ignorant of the power it possessed back then. She went through a time of believing she was ADHD and needed medication. After all, we did a poll in our suburban, filled with kids I was driving to an event. Every single one of them was on ADHD meds. Then her obsession became anxiety and depression, and again, she needed meds for that. I appeased her and took her to therapists and even had her evaluated (major $$), and she was never satisfied because no one told her what she wanted to hear. and I also informed her that even if she were to be diagnosed that I would not give her meds under any circumstances, because the side effect could be--anxiety and depression! I told her that we would see a nutritionist, and get her on a weekly workout program and then we would determine the course. Predictably, she declined. She moved from anxiety and depression to dissociative disorder. I did my research and found there was about a one in a million chance and that some psychologists didn't even believe it was real, so she explored more. Then she worried about turrets, because there was an online group of mainly girls who had it (really!!) and would post themselves. I could not use the word "puberty" because that sent her into a spiral of anger, but I stayed up till all hours letting her vent and saying little. I learned to say little after being burned and realizing she needed the rant. She graduated during covid (the nightmare that made this all explode) with all D's after bringing them up from F's. I was happy she graduated, but she was still adrift. I spent the years in prayer for her, and I asked all praying friends to add her to their prayers. She is now a thriving beautiful woman, and I am thankful for who she is, but I am not deluded by thinking I know the way. It was the grace of God. And that grace does not always mean there won't be pain and consequences. This trans phenomenon is my number one cause, because it's our children who are at stake. I pray for each one of you often, because i know it could be me and it could be her

Thank you for your inspirational story. My daughter has been on a very similar path to yours, except that she is 20 and she has medicalized. Very addicted to the idea of having many disorders, being on medications, and being trans. I hope and pray daily that she will understand that her parents are the only ones who love her enough to tell her the truth, and that she comes to accept herself for the brilliant, beautiful woman I know is still inside of her. Happy for you, I love reading these stories.

“[F]inding purpose in the Creator”…you were doing so well until you brought religion into it. That’s a sure way to alienate most of the peole who need to hear this. Of course, it’s your right to frame the issue this way; it’s just going to make you message less persuasive.

Both politics and religion need to be kept separate from the trans debate, if we are to avoid being instantly tuned out by the people whom we hope to persuade.

Only persuasive to UNbelievers like you. Do you think you are here by magic or some accident of nature. Why even comment negatively on her post with your inane thoughts? Every human life has been created and is sacred from the moment of conception even you! But it is your free will ( at your peril) to deny the existence of a creator.

Most reasonable people know that the terms "ancient man" or "mankind" have a shared meaning which includes both men and women. There is no reason to insinuate that Linda is somehow being misogynistic or "supporting the patriarchy" by using that term. In fact, that's the type of twisting of language that sows division and is part of what got our children caught up in this in the first place.

Your response is nasty. Obviously a God perspective is important to this writer. If you don't like it don't read it. But calling that belief "mental Illness" is pretty cruel and of course not true.
