Some of us saw it coming and predicted the nightmare outcomes.

But we never could have predicted that our own children could have been deceived, caught up in the madness.

Very true and most hurtifull

Even more infuriating was how churches behaved. We left our church where my sons were baptized, because they bought the COVID psyop and would not meet in person for our kids' small groups. The change was a blessing in hindsight, as our new church (while far from perfect on pandemic nonsense) held small groups for kids at a leader's home. We live in Kentucky, which was also a blessing. Other than spring of 2020, our kids were in person at least part time and activities, including sports were not canceled. Our stupid Governor tried to pull some nonsense, but our very red legislature and a lawsuit (I was an expert witness for the plaintiff) stopped him. I am truly sorry to everyone reading this. I have no personal experience with the trans social contagion, other than through patients, parents of teens who fell victim. I pray that your children will find their identity in God.

Thank you for sharing your essay.

I believe this where the trans world began for my son too. It’s like he has had two different lives - pre-Covid lockdowns he was a happy, healthy young man. Enter lockdowns and isolation, only being able to connect with friends and take classes online, refusal of the university to let them travel home for visits and return to the dorm. Oh the loneliness. He became a different person through all of that. It makes me so sad. I miss him so much.

Nah, man. Josie Romero and Jazz Jennings were being celebrated and given star treatment in the mid 2000s, by Libs and mainstream media. Conservatives were howling because we've been around the corner enough times to know how this nonsense goes, and Libs were treating us like we were actual Hitler. I've never been called a bigot so many times in my life after Obama took office in 2008. And the vileness of the whole thing, by Libs. "Go back to your trailer park." Go read a book. You must be homeschooled. " "Republicans are anti-science." Every single lib that had to learn the hard way--brought it on themselves.

Your essay rings very true. My three daughters were 14, 17 and 20 when the lockdowns hit. We had moved to another country eight months prior. Our eldest was in our home country trying to navigate Covid and university. All three suffered from mental health issues. My youngest two went down the trans rabbit hole. One came out the other side medically unscathed. The other is still in the rabbit hole. It definitely affected and still affects my kids' sense of how to navigate the world. Covid and personal reasons, including the trans-insanity put me (Mom) into an acute depressive crisis that lasted for months and has affected me longterm. Dad suffered, too, while trying to keep the lights on (financially). Lost a family member to Covid as well. It was a terrible, horrible time.

Wow! You really hit the nail on the head with this! That exactly the way it affected our young adults!🙏

This is so true! My daughter has progressed since those awful days of isolation but the trans status is still very embedded. Looking back it probably gave her a focus, a purpose, a sense of belonging at a time when so much was out of her control. I wish I knew then what I know now because now she is an adult and deemed sensible enough to make her own decisions. However, think that time has skewed her thinking and it terrifies me that she will not be afforded the same protections as children.

Yes I totally see this as well. My oldest son was just out of high school + was profoundly affected especially within the gaming community that was where that voice first whispered to him. "Maybe you're not a man". I have such a hard time understanding how the way our minds work has become so different and the way that we see the world is completely disconnected. I have tried to explain disintegration to my son's. I have tried to help them see that mind, body and soul must be integrated in order for the person to be whole and healthy. But to them that sounds like a foreign concept. That is just me pushing my beliefs on them. I don't understand their language and they reject mine. I can't say for sure that I know where this is going but I have my suspicions. The author of all of this is prowling like a lion seeking the ruin of souls.

This post is so important, it's hard to believe that this is not obvious to everyone. My autistic daughter (high functioning) was a hostage of the lockdowns. She loved being home: no loud classmates, the comfort of her room, no oversight,... She became an expert on gender, through Reddit. She kept it a secret from her terf family, of course. From me, her single mom. From her older brother, who started on a journey to save her when I showed him the evidence that testosterone will harm her. She has a moustache now, her voice is breaking. And she is happy, as happy as she was before transition. She doesn't believe in science, politics, institutions and quality media anymore, she witnessed how they all lied about covid. She only trusts her friends and her online community on Reddit. One day she will realize the latter also lie. Then we may talk again about gender. Until then we communicate about anything but gender. I hope we can keep at least that bond intact.

Very true! My older daughter had just graduated college and started her first job which she promptly lost thanks to Covid lockdowns. Our youngest was a freshman in college. They both came home to live and spent way too much time online, but what can you tell an adult? It’s not like a kid where you can control what they do. They and so many of their friends are a mess now. We will live with what Covid did for years to come.

Some of us did see it coming. How an entire generation of young people was thrown under the bus in the futile attempt to stop a virus that was always going to infect everyone. How we were taught to see fellow humans as biohazards. How masks impeded human communication and connection when we were finally allowed to interact again. How support for these anti-social policies became a partisan litmus test of the “kind” vs. right-wing anti-science bigots and callous killers of the vulnerable. Just like the “trans” phenomenon for which lockdowns were a powerful catalyst.

I can never forgive the medical institutions that went along with the lockdown. Especially the state and local medical authorities that closed the schools.

No one will ever be held accountable for the lockdowns either, terrifying that my Governor can lockdown an entire state based on bad science, so that means it can be done for anything.

Dr. Heather Heying's Substack: Natural Selections has asked readers to submit stories of the Covid Era so we do not forget the terror.

"This week I bring you another Covid Era Story. By remembering what happened, by sharing our grief, or trauma, or treatment at the hands of others or an impersonal system, perhaps we can begin to heal.

I am, as always, grateful to you, my readers. Thank you." -

@HeatherEHeying

Covid was pure madness and tyranny thanks to pedophiles Bill Gates, Fauci, Epstein, our elected and elites, we are being ruled by a cabal of pedophiles who also will out live us all thanks to China Human Harvesting of Organs, I wonder how many George Soros has had. And Epstein, I think he is still alive and he should have a huge bounty kept on him.

Even if Fauci is dead, i want him tried and convicted. I would prefer now while he is alive that he get prosecuted, but if slips away i want a posthumous trial to set the historical record.

100%. This where the trans began for my son. He was a senior in high school when the world shut down. You really got the nail on the head. 100%.
