"Your child is too ugly to be a girl"

Well... that's a new anti-trans angle.

churchmusiclady's avatar

One of the most profoundly insulting things I've heard from "trans women" (the perviest ones) is that they get off on the humiliation of being a woman, as though being female is necessarily humiliating (I'm almost fifty, and I can confidently say it is NOT.) They love being objectified by men, whistled at, and perceived as an "object to be penetrated." How trans supporters cannot see this as the most offensive, woman-hating, backward philosophy is beyond me. When I see a man in women's clothes, I think, "How DARE you?" I also assume their brains have been completely scrambled by pornography.

Regarding the "trans men": yes, our daughters have been hoodwinked, but I think a big part for them is opting OUT of womanhood, not opting INTO manhood. I'm fortunate to be surrounded by wonderful, kind, loving, STRONG men in my life. And any woman could never in a million years hope to be like one of them, no matter what.

Thank you for this wonderful piece. WHEN WILL THIS MADNESS END?

I often wonder what my beautiful daughter thinks who she is fooling when she looks at herself in the mirror dressed as a boy and trying to imitate a deep voice. So incredibly sad and offensive as her mother and a woman.

These people have turned PERSONALITY into a definition of gender identity. I am a person First who is in a certain biological body, of female, which I accept as a PART OF WHO I AM. The people who are pushing transgender ideology are really evil in my book because they are deliberately pushing it on young, vulnerable, confused kids because they want to remake the world in their image

Steven, HsD—Forensic Jester's avatar

"which I accept as a PART OF WHO I AM."

Do you not think it's innately easier to accept that being PART OF WHO YOU ARE if that's actually how you feel as well? What if you felt differently? Your objection carries flavours of "MY speech is free speech because I agree with it".

"The people who are pushing transgender ideology are really evil"

I'm not sure what transgender "ideology" is, but what if the "people" in question is the person who believes themselves transgender? Are they still really evil? And what leads you to that determination? Is their evilness a function of how they do not feel about themselves the way you feel about yourself?

You’re treating your own ease with your body as proof of reality, and someone else’s distress with theirs as proof of ideology. That’s doing a lot of hidden work.

Alibaba's avatar

I think the problem lies when kids are being told if they think differently then they must change that biological nature of themselves. You’re still speaking to terms of gender-not sex.

Gender can be fluid throughout the day-like when I work out I tap into my masculine, when I put on my makeup and a dress I tap into my feminine.

Both sexes are allowed to feel strongly more masculine or feminine and a balanced human would feel both naturally when needed.

It’s when they’ve been brainwashed to think that this ‘gender’ bending means I need to start taking drugs that harm the homeostasis of my body and remove or add body parts to fit the ‘feeling.’

Cause let’s be honest here-feelings change.

Transgender ideology is also offensive to men, all men.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing this and posting it. Please keep on telling the Truth! Also, Bruce Jenner and Tim McBride are not victims. Men are not victims of gender ideology. Children certainly are, but not full grown men. They are men with fetishes who despise women. They are predators.

Yes.much truth in your post.

You should have no sympathy for Bruce Jenner or Tim McBride. Only loathing. The latter is a disgusting fetishist / autogynephile who is forcing us all to partake in him acting out his sexual paraphilia, in public!! (The validation gets him off.) He has also openly admitted to stealing Kim Kardashian’s, (his own STEP-DAUGHTER’S!!!), underwear. if you ask me, fetishists like him, who act out their fetish in public, are sex offenders who deserve jail time, and to be listed in a sex offender registry!!! Not victims that you should feel sorry for. Here is a great video to cure you of it, btw: https://odysee.com/@Skirt_Go_Spinny:7/Wrong-Ans-Only-1:b

Tim McBride is perhaps slightly less creepy, but still disgustingly entitled!! I feel precisely ZERO sympathy for gay men like him, either. He can go fuck himself. He has absolutely ZERO sympathy or empathy for women, so then why should we extend that to him?? I am generally so sick of the “be kind” conditioning women receive that makes us think we owe empathy and sympathy to men who either actively HATE US, at worst, or could not give a flying fuck about us and our rights, at best. They shall keep receiving NONE from me.

Deb's avatar

Cece, You are Spot On! We must cease and desist from any sympathy and stupid "be kind" brainwashing because these men are declaring War on Women and Girls. They want to Replace us!

I have been saying for years that the trans movement is anti-women. I remember when they put Bruce Jenner on the cover of Time magazine as woman of the year. How INSULTING!!!!

As a woman, to live each day of each month in a hormonal swing, cramping, shedding, bleeding, and still carrying on our day to day we are so miraculous!

For a man to wake up and say I’m a woman as if it were easy is one of the most aggravating things I’ve come across.

It’s crazy town and will it ever end??!!

How do you feel about female wall outlets?

VN's avatar

Thanks for articulating this. It is very disconcerting to hear the phrase so often said by adherents to this ideology, “I am supporting her/him/they to be their ‘true’ self”?

Running Raven's avatar

It's literally the same the other way around.

Your sweet son has every right to be soft, to love playing with dolls, to shave his legs if he wants to, get butterflies in his stomach for the boy next door, and none of it makes him in any way a girl. He can be afraid of the expectations the world has of a man, and abhor the rough and tumble...

And this one is on the dads. Tell him you love him. Show him that he's a great boy, even if he's soft and shows it. He's looking up to you either way, but he may not be following in your footsteps, and that's okay. Love him anyway. 💙

The daily effort to pass as the opposite sex must be exhausting. I hope all who endlessly waste energy and resources to try and pass as the opposite sex redirect that energy and money to reintegration with their sex and all that was lost during their time immersed in gender identity ideology.

Steven, HsD—Forensic Jester's avatar

For many it's precisely the opposite.

Would you become exhausted by presenting yourself as the gender you feel like internally? I certainly don't. Having to present myself as the gender I do not "feel" I am or identify as would be exhausting. And for some, a cause of suicide.

Hippiesq's avatar

But Steven - when you aren’t pretending to be the opposite sex - not “gender,” whatever that’s a supposed to be - you are not presenting yourself as anything. You are just being.

I don’t present myself as female. People can perceive me however they want. I just exist in the world and do what is comfortable for me in terms of clothing, hairstyle, mannerisms, etc. it’s not an active “presentation.” I think that’s the whole crux of the problem.

If people were not so concerned with presenting themselves as either male or female, but just concentrated on being themselves - again, through clothing, hairstyle and mannerisms, and sure, you can change your name if you have a real issue with the one you were given, but not because it tells people your sex, and instead because perhaps the sound of the name just makes you cringe on the daily - they would see that there is no need for harsh chemicals and surgeries to further a Pretense that someone is the opposite sex, and no need to pretend they are the opposite sex at all. They could just be.

It’s not my business what you do, but the pretense itself is unnecessary effort, and the chemicals and surgeries are unhealthy. I hope you take these words in the spirit in which they were meant and not as an attack on your personal choices.

Steven, HsD—Forensic Jester's avatar

Gender commonly refers to the social constructs we have made and roughly mapped to sexes. So in most uses, sex and gender are not synonyms, but refer to two different kinds of things.

Cis men and cis women do all sorts of gender-affirming things to present themselves as their gender. Why should people "not be concerned with" how they want to exist and move through the world unless they are not transgender? Or do you have similar objections against make-up, hair transplants, dresses and midlife crisis sports cars?

"pretense itself is unnecessary effort,"

But you only have a problem when transgender people make the "effort" of presenting themselves in a way they feel comfortable?

"they would see that there is no need for harsh chemicals and surgeries"

There is no need for YOU to have "harsh chemicals" or surgeries. If you analyze the situation further, you will discover that other people have different opinions than you on what's necessary for them.

"[gender affirming care is] unhealthy"

Again, just presuming you know what's better for individual peoples' health than them and their doctors. Do you not recognize your glaring hubris? See the last sentence of my previous response again. I wasn't just generating random words. There are numbers behind that statement:

• Canadian transgender adolescents had 400% higher risk of suicidal ideation and 660% risk of a suicide attempt compared with cisgender heterosexual adolescents. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35667666/

• A 2022 prospective study found youths who began puberty blockers or hormones had 73% lower adjusted odds of suicidality over the following year than those who had not begun them. https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamanetworkopen/fullarticle/2789423

• A large newer claims study found puberty-blocker prescriptions among transgender youth were associated with 80% lower adjusted odds of diagnosed suicidal thoughts and behaviours. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/42467435/

So, Hippiesq, I would like to ask you how CERTAIN you are of your beliefs. Are you willing to hold on to these views with the confidence you have expressed here, despite your not being an expert in this field, and the statistical data showing policies established based on your views may be harming children?

Yes, Trans is completely regressive, undoing decades of women striving to be as equal to men as possible. Being equal must stop meaning being the same as a man or woman when you are the opposite sex. Trans is paganistic, backwards, unenlightening, destructive, there will be nothing good to come from Trans, nothing, not one thing, only harm. Trans is harmful to young people still finding their way and themselves, Trans is unneeded a pathway to hell for sure. We cannot let lies pass through us.

K. F.'s avatar

Yeah, it never ceases to amaze me how absolutely regressive this particular 'progressive cause' is.

It's terrible ideas from the likes Jacques Derrida and Michel Foucault. Blending Russian Constructivism and "Deconstruction", a philosophical concept by Jacques Derrida that questions fixed meanings. Sick of it all, just terrible ideas these commie marxists cannot let go of even though they have been disproven so many times. They want power and money, as their own enlightenment/intelligence has not created any wealth for themselves to be as good as or better than their parents, whom they hate, therefore just destroy everything and claim it righteous in the name of something pathetic and unenlightening. Books of wisdom talk about these fools in thinking they are wise they hasten their own demise and others who follow along.

anpanman2's avatar

Exactly. When psychologists specialized in gender explained gender to me it made me furious. I couldn't believe how backward it sounded, as if women had never been emancipated, as if men and women were not allowed to do as they like and look as they like. Some idiots have put gender rules firmly back in place and people comply like sheep. Somehow my daughter and her queer boyfriend find this cool. They love to genderbend, but they need hard drugs to do it (testosterone).

churchmusiclady's avatar

What the heck ever happened to "Free To Be You and Me", when Marlo Thomas & Friends talked about girls being able to be truck drivers, and boys playing with dolls and cooking? And that girls and boys could be whatever they wanted to be? It was clear that it was about freedom to make choices and behave how you wanted to, not TURN INTO the other thing. THAT seemed like progress. Not this garbage. :-(
