Off-topic RE trans kids, but on-topic RE psychiatrists and their personal agendas: 20 years ago in Vancouver (Canada), local psychiatrist and trauma expert Dr Gabor Maté used trash studies to promote "harm reduction" (free heroin for anyone who wants it) for heroin addicts.
The far-left poverty industry was behind his agenda (since it meant endless employment and grants for endless NGOs and three levels of marxist bureaucrats). Free heroin was established. Homelessness/addiction/crime is substantially worse than it was. Even junkies say out loud, "There's no motivation to rehab." What "harm" was "reduced", and for whom? Next year, personal amounts of MDMA, cocaine, and meth will be decriminalized.
Agenda-promoting psychiatrists using trash science to promote agendas that will injure and kill. Rinse and repeat.
