I commented in reply to a parent who was concerned about her newly trans-IDed daughter (ftm). She was going to be bringing the child to a gender clinic. This was all new to her and she was trusting the medical and school recommendations. Another commenter gave advice and linked to resources and articles. I too suggested she be wary of therapy if they only "affirmed" to look for dissenting opinions and I did suggest Abigail Shrier's book. I had quite a few "recommended" numbers. My post was there for the first day until evening, gone the next morning.

The mother with the original question even thanked both myself and the other poster who had given her similar advice and words of caution. Her thank-yous remained, while both of our posts were gone.

What we have failed to realize is that this is so much bigger than the New York Times. There is a worldwide campaign to destroy the nuclear family and everything we hold dearly as American citizens. Like all great cults, they start with the children first.

Good article. But one thing reads incorrectly. "and someone who did not know mental health issues sometimes manifest as gender dysphoria. (Autism is one example.)" Autism / nuerodiversity is NOT a mental health issue.
