Exactly right. While I'm retired from salaried work (I'm a farmer but the professions I used to work in included teaching, Developmental Specialist/Trainer, and school-based Clinician), I still care very much about what happens to kids and their families. I care what these parents are going through. I want to help support parents by speaking out in my community, to the school board, etc.
