An URGENT Conversation: Download the Gender Toolkit That May Help Safeguard Our Children
Five years ago, we faced an unimaginable crisis. A psychologist at Manhattan's Child Mind Institute urged us to socially transition our 12-year-old daughter. The prescribed path was clear: change her name and pronouns, inform her school and family, and buy her body-compressing breast binders. Terrified that our distressed daughter was at a heightened risk of suicide, we complied.
It nearly killed her.
The transition was not therapeutic. Instead, it worsened her mental health issues, increased her dysphoria, and triggered obsessive thoughts about bodily mutilation and dangerous drugs. We were lost, desperate, and uninformed. We didn't have the resources to learn about the long-term harms of sex-trait modification, hormone use, and the psychological impacts of transitioning a distressed adolescent.
Today, five years later, after extensive research, heated discussions, tough conversations, and occasional meltdowns, our daughter has happily overcome her dysphoria. At seventeen, she has learned to love her quirky, non-stereotypical female self and emerged as what she calls a "fully healed human." Despite enduring these tough times, including several hospitalizations and a suicide attempt, our family considers ourselves lucky. We clawed our way out of the gender madness and emerged with a healthy child whose body remains intact and who has become more resilient as a result of her bad experiences.
But not every family is as fortunate.
Many are still entrapped in the dangerous practices of gender medicine, and children continue to be harmed by misinformation and cavalier approaches to sex-trait modification.
This must stop.
Our friends at Restore Childhood have created a comprehensive toolkit, filled with vital information for parents, schools, and practitioners about the perils of "gender medicine". If my family had had this toolkit five years ago, we could have combatted the misinformation, avoided the pain, and immediately rejected the wrong-headed decisions that nearly tore our family apart.
Now, we need your help.
Download, share, and amplify this toolkit. Send it to your school administration, local representatives, and family. Don’t let another child suffer from the reckless practices of sex-trait modification and sex denialism.
Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can protect our children from harm. Download the toolkit today and join us in spreading the word. Save a child, save a family, and ensure a healthier future for our community.
Ypur daughter is an example of how every child should be at the end of this journey, without any damage done. This so all so tragic, but I am happy your daughter is out xxxx
Thank you for this. My daughter is still in this hell. We have a similar story though we were late enough to the game that we never affirmed. I had resources that supported that decision where others did not. This tool kit will be useful when I go public and fight back. And fight I will.
