Can anyone please give me the contact information for a “non-affirming” psychotherapist or psychologist accepting patients in FL or willing to do telehealth/zoom type sessions? I know a 23 year old female seeking FTM transition. She fits the ROGD profile. I’d like to see her get quality therapy

Good for you! You acted and made a difference. Thank you for sharing your story, for showing us how to get involved and continue our fight. I loved this “Jamie's story is quite possibly the most powerful thing I've read in the last three years of researching this topic.” YES! I agree 100%. Keep the momentum going - we are all in this nightmare together and your strength and courage gives all us more strength and courage. Don’t give up! Cling to hope - that is the one thing this trans cult cannot take from us!

Wow! You took an uncomfortable situation and even though you were fearful and overwhelmed, you did something constructive. Thank you! It inspires me. I get so frozen in my fear, terror, and sadness. Thank you!

We think alike. You are brave. Thank you for the form letter and so thankful that you don't have a kid who is captured. I sent the article to close friends who forwarded it to other friends with trans kids and managed to wake up a couple of parents who were deep in but also concerned. They're now pissed. Good!

If we are all stand up, we will defeat this. Fear cannot handcuff us. Do something every week to stop this. Send Jaime's story every where, add your story - they are starting to hear us. Keep getting louder. March 12, 2023 is Detransition Awareness Day a great opportunity to get even louder. I am pleased that people are spreading the truth ..........

I , too, am caught in the scrolly-scrolling. I find on Facebook that none of my friends post anything about gender ideology and when they do, it's a story in support of some kid who is transitioning (a recent one that comes to mind was the story of a child age 5). I often e-mail people to call them out or to say I support them. I just received a response from a school trustee in Durham, Ontario, Canada. She was recently "cancelled" and barred from further school board meetings because she said schools should not be keeping names and pronouns secret from parents and counsellors should probably be investigating what other mental health issues are going on with kids (who declare this switch in identity). I e-mailed her to support her, with several resources attached (including the name of this group). She responded and thanked me, said I can contact her at any time. She was familiar with many resources I sent her and had just finished reading the book Trans by Helen Joyce. I highly recommend Trans to everyone in the PITT group.

Another one to watch for:

Time to Think: The Inside story of the Collapse of the Tavistock's Gender Service for Children will be out on Feb. 23

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/96516833-time-to-think

I can so relate to the feeling of banging your head against a wall when you read the comments on social media. Check out the ACLU Facebook page. That is one organization heavily aligned with the activists. I don't think they give one whit about the mental health of teens and young adolescents caught up in the ideology. I have had many arguments on that page. I have to stop the scrolling for a few days and get out into nature.

That's why twitter is the ultimate gender critical medium for me, and has been for the past 10 years. I believe the explosion of 3rd or 4th wave feminism was very much encouraged by critical women and men connecting on twitter, sharing critical information and referring to other references. Sadly many women got cancelled by misogynist twitter staff, and now we have Elon Musk holding the reigns. Not ideal but we've got to continue this gender critical revolution, the gender madness has gone way too far. We must stop this legalized conversion of lesbians and gays. And the AGP and Pedo men's 'liberation' movement. Self ID is causing the biggest harm to women and girls.

Excellent. I'm not on Facebook so could only read your first reply before it went blank, but that one was a great example of how to expose mealy-mouthed politicians glibly ruining young lives and families for woke points.

Good for you. It lifts my spirits to know that your well-reasoned riposte has gone to what appears to be another inexcusably ignorant office holder, set on doing profound harm. I never cease to be amazed at the recklessness, the lack of conscience of such as her, that they can't be bothered to ask themselves the most basic questions or try to be informed on any level before endorsing such as this insane legislation.

Is 'First Do No Harm' such a difficult principle? Maybe one she's not heard of.

Thank you. I cannot openly do similar and am grateful to all those who can, and do.

Interesting about people in trades as compared to office workers. Doesn't surprise me, but I hadn't heard it stated before. Almost as if universities have become indoctrination hubs... (yup.) Glad to know trades may hold pockets of still-reasonable people, still doing real things in a real world!

Yes a tide is turning, but it will be interesting to see about escalation and a fightback response, and how rapidly perceptions shift. Or not. Every time I think there's GOT to be a breakthrough, I'm disappointed at how entrenched the believers are, and how derelict the MSM. But I hold out hope. Sometimes when things are shown to be irrational or false, and particularly if suddenly recognised as an evil on some level, they can quickly lose their power over people. I hope for that, but we'll see.

Meanwhile thanks again for being openly and directly outspoken. So many of us can't be, for work or family/personal reasons, and it's so important that this insanity is exposed and stopped.

I sent her story to my Iowa governor, and state senator and representative. (The federal office holders won't be able to affect any change). Having lost (alienation - haven't seen her in years) a daughter to this morbid cult, I'm not always strong enough to read about what they're doing. But hopefully I can help in any way I can.

Thank you! Your experience mirrors mine: I also have a son who, although dismissal in the beginning (he was complaining that I was being obsessed with the issue), confided in me a few days ago, tearing up, an told me that everything I warned him about is true. He said there was no "freedom of speech" in his school about gender identity (you either conform or you are reported for "transphobia"), and he is fortunately part of a group of friends who discuss this in private and are frustrated by what is going on. He even expressed fear for his younger peers, who don't have the capacity to understand what is going on. I'd say there are more kids with common sense than we think, and that makes me helpful.

Jamie's story is a bombshell, but nothing in it will come as a surprise to anyone who's been paying attention the last few years.

My immediate "action" was to forward her article, within hours of its being published, to my son Matt (Walsh) who has a national media platform plus over 1.4 million followers on Twitter...and also, oh by the way, blew the whistle that shut down the children's transgender clinic at Vanderbilt University Medical Center a few months ago. Matt retweeted a link to Jamie's piece.

But if anyone thinks we're finally getting the upper hand on this satanic madness, they're kidding themselves. You have to understand that the Gender Cult is a symptom of the disease...not its cause. The cause goes very deep...deeper than a lot of decent people have the courage or wisdom to understand.

Until you comprehend the reality of your enemy, the nature of the war that your enemy is waging, and the conversion of heart necessary to defeat your enemy, you can't win. We're far from that necessary state of mind and soul...and getting farther by the week. That's the bitter fact of the matter.

I watched Matt's testimony in the Tennessee legislature. "What is your expertise in this area?"

Matt - "I'm a human with a functioning brain" (or something of that nature). His responses were so sane for anyone not caught up in this bizzaro way of thinking. I also watched "What is a Woman", another open-mouth experience listening to that self-righteous professor of "gender studies" try to answer the question, What is a woman? and getting all bent out-of-shape that Matt would dare to ask him such. The nuts are running higher education. And kudos to Matt for calling out the Vanderbilt Clinic. I wonder how long that shutdown will last.

Hi Jerry,

Thanks for reading our Substack. Agreed the rot goes wide and deep in society today. We need to fight this battle on many fronts. Our battle is to try and protect our kids from medical and psychological harm from trans ideology.

Could you put in a word for our Substack to Matt? We get thousands of reads on our pieces but could always use more support and publicity.

PITT has already broken stories that have led to real change, for example here;

Hi, Anne. FYI, Matt led his show today with a plug for PITT and highlighted a story that appeared on the site yesterday titled A Father's Anger That Will Not Sleep.

I sent that story around to all my family. It really resonates with anyone having a brain and a heart.

You guys are doing great work, and I think it's making a difference.

Anne, thanks, I have more than once sent articles published on PITT to Matt and the rest of my kids. In fact, I've described this site to them as an "invaluable resource" in understanding the real-life experiences of mothers and fathers caught up in this satanic Gender Cult.

In fact, though my six kids are all long raised and strongly affirming of the Christian values they grew up with, I have 28 (and counting) grandchildren who are now entering the firing line. That's why I never take anything for granted. The war goes on...and it gets deadlier by the month.

God bless you and everyone connected with PITT for your work in this cause. Perhaps some of you don't even believe in God or the eternal values ordained in His universe...but you're on His side nevertheless. And in this battle for the soul of our civilization, I'm grateful to have friends wherever they may be found.

I've been writing to the University President and the Dean of the Medical School at my alma mater. I know they are received because I got a reply to the first one. I send regular updates on stuff hitting the news, like Jamie Reed: "No gender clinicians are calling Wash U out, so likely common practice" I ask them to blow the whistle on themselves and get ahead of the issue for the good of the university.

When one reads the response to the letter from Jennifer X (comment below) it is so clear that so many in positions of influence have 'drunk the cool aid'. How depressing. I too have been caught up in the scrolly scrolling. Sometimes I feel I should stop because it's having a bad effect on me - but I can't. It's like banging my head against a brick wall.

Thank you for your courage in sending these letters. I myself have written a couple of things when I experienced exactly the same symptoms you described: anxiety, fear, increasing heart rate, and a real desire to delete my comments/letters. Hopefully, Jamie Reed's whistleblowing will help to turn the tide.

Feb 17, 2023·edited Feb 17, 2023

This was Senator Jeff Merkley's email response to a letter I wrote recently as well:

"Thank you for contacting me to express your views on gender-affirming care. I appreciate hearing from you. While we may disagree about this issue, I recognize that your views on this issue are powerful and deeply felt.

Gender-affirming care, which is a form of health care, consists of an array of services that include medical and non-medical services and need not be permanent or irreversible. These services are crucial to the overall health and well-being of young transgender and non-binary people. A shocking 52% of gender-diverse adolescents report having considered suicide over the last year, a much greater rate than their cisgender peers. Without gender-affirming care, transgender and non-binary people are at a larger risk of marginalization.

We know from brain science that young people are physically less able to consider long term consequences of decisions, and it is important that supportive adults in their lives help them. And we also know that gender dysphoria is a real and profoundly impactful condition that deserves proper medical attention. We can and should make sure young people are well-supported and receive the care they need to be healthy and happy. In most cases nobody knows a child better than their parents, and no parent should be threatened with criminal penalties or losing their parental rights for trying to support their child.

I think it is a matter of basic human decency to respect others’ identity. None of us would want other people who haven’t walked in our shoes to presume they know who we are, what we feel, or how we should be identified. Further, I think that we must take steps to ensure that all young people, regardless of how they identify, should have access to the full scope of health care to improve their mental and physical health. All Americans, regardless of who they are or who they love, deserve to live a fulfilled life, free from fear of discrimination or lack of access to lifesaving services.

Thank you again for your message. I hope you will continue to keep me informed on the topics that matter to you the most.

All my best,

Jeffrey A. Merkley

United States Senator"

Words and phrases straight from the Denton's book and compulsory 'equality' and 'inclusion' training he must have had to attend or else... I can't believe people want to believe these lies, and don't do their own investigations. The global brainwash is just astounding!

You just have to wonder-did he even read your letter, or just briefly scan it. He ignored so many of the irrefutable facts you put in there. Keep us posted on any more responses. This letter you wrote was brilliant in my opinion.

Ok they have no new arguments. And the part about parents is a joke. The parents know better than the kid unless the parents do not support the transition in which case the information should be withheld from them and they should even be threatened by child protective services to have their child taken away. So parents only know better when they agree with the teen and the transgender industry. The suicide statistics are now a joke. He ignores Jamie’s affidavit if it was out then. He ignores UK, Finland, Sweden - even the Dutch. Does not touch on the majority of kids having autism. This is why I want them on the record. They regurgitate the same old song despite any new facts. History will judge him harshly. I am secular but his God will judge him harshly. I want to hear this refrain again and again. At some point, somehow, it will fall on deaf ears. I have changed the views of several of my Democratic friends and family. Enough.

Jennifer X why don't you contact PITT and ask them to publish this response as a piece in it's own right?

pitt@genspect.org

I feel sure they would do so. It is so concerning and illustrates very well the crux of this mindless ideology which has captured our institution (including politicians.). You could write a brief introduction, and/or PITT editors could help to do that.

He is unlikely to have written a letter this detailed to one constituent. This seems like a form letter, writing to rebuff people who write with concerns.

Sadly he says he is Catholic AND he is not up for election until 2026. I pray that his pastor, Cardinal O’Malley or some other Catholic (or anyone else for that matter) can convince him to open his eyes on this. His position doesn’t conform to Catholic teaching and the fact that he promotes it while holding high office is a scandal.
