I'm right with your last paragraph. Will I ever get my son back? I am not hopeful at this point. He changed his name and gender and no longer wants a normal, loving parent-child relationship with me and my husband. He is likely taking hormones and having surgeries. He was brainwashed during COVID via social media when he was only 25 years old and likely was suffering from depression, along with having ADHD, and possibly autism spectrum disorders, mood disorder, and such. He had just started to emerge from his sheltered life in school, college, and family life, and was in transition as he was growing up in his 20s. This is a time when young adults are trying new ideas to find themselves. Why were these life-changing harms pushed on him? Those who are doing this to our youth should be held criminally responsible for creating irreversible damages. This is and will be totally devastating for him, his life, and for our family.

Many Native American tribes cherished their two-spirit members. They considered them gifted. Rather than ostracizing two-spirits, they recognized their unique talents and gave them important roles to play in society. If only our society valued two-spirits like that, we would all be okay.
We live in a time when facts are subordinate to tribal identity. If read with an open mind this and the WPATH email leak would inspire investigative reporters to care. But as I watched both land with heads turned away from the evidence and the facts disappear down the memory hole, I have diminished hopes that anyone will ever back off their non-evidence based assumptions. What an excellent question...but who really has the answer? How do we return to our lives before this cult barged into our world and stole our children? I am afraid that too much has been lost and that there is no normalcy to go back to. How can all the damage be undone? Families and relationships have been severed, destroyed and ruined. How can our pain be forgotten? I am thrilled that the Cass Report has been published and I hope it will make a difference for the future of innocent children not yet trapped. The truth will be devastating, but will our lost children be able to cope? I just want accountability and pray that the wrong will be made right.

It's a shame the report uses the language of magical 'gender' ideology and still assumes there is something to this gender nonsense. It doesn't question the concept of 'being born into the wrong body', or that these children should be treated as the opposite sex. I really do not believe that for males they have gender dysphoria, but fetishize women and want access to Lesbians. They want to wear our skin. If you ask them what, why they thing they are women, I've never yet heard an answer that is not about fetish and objectification of females.

While some good news in this and we will take all the good news we can... as fast as these stories are coming out and the detransition stories, the gender cult mafia is quickly working to suppress these stories and studies and also pass laws to make sure doctors, counselors, hospitals, etc. are NOT held responsible or liable in any way for such irresponsible, unscientific and harmful treatments. Completely protected If a patient / family later decide to sue them because of the horrific damage or even death they have caused, and the patient / family have NO RECOURSE. We already see all the hoops and political pressure to divert billions of dollars (much of our tax $ and rising insurance premiums) to "gender affirming care" BUT NOTHING for these poor souls who later realize what a terrible mistake they made and need help to detransition... they are met with scorn, ridicule and not one penny to help them then from these so called "caring' doctors and "community"... so much for really caring about these people... it's all an agenda and our dear children and youth are paying the price for being pawns in the game. Only GOD can avenge this evil, heal, redeem and bring beauty from such ashes. I pray HE does soon!!!!
