Major Historical Medical Ethical Lapses in the United States

The Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment

The Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment stands as one of the most infamous racist and ethically controversial studies in the history of medicine. Spanning over four decades, from 1932 to 1972, the experiment conducted by the United States Public Health Service had far-reaching implications and consequences.

The experiment involved enrolling a total of 600 black male participants, with 399 of them having syphilis and 201 serving as a control group. However, what made the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment particularly egregious was the fact that the infected participants were deliberately left untreated, even after effective treatment options like penicillin became available in the 1940s. The subjects were never adequately informed about the true nature of the study and were instead misled into believing that they were receiving free healthcare for “bad blood.” One hundred died needlessly.

Lobotomies for Mental Illness

Lobotomy, a surgical procedure that involves severing or damaging connections in the brain’s prefrontal cortex, was introduced in the early 20th century.

The use of the procedure increased dramatically from the early 1940s and into the 1950s; by 1951, almost 20,000 lobotomies had been performed in the United States. Many of the patients were gay men but overall more lobotomies were performed on women than on men: a 1951 study found that nearly 60% of American lobotomy patients were women.

One of the major ethical concerns surrounding lobotomies was the lack of informed consent. Many patients and their families were not adequately informed about the irreversible nature of the procedure or the potential side effects.

While some patients experienced temporary relief from their symptoms, many others suffered severe cognitive and emotional impairments. The procedure often left individuals with significant personality changes, reduced cognitive abilities, and difficulties in functioning.

The Eugenic Sterilization of Black Women

The forced sterilization of black women in the name of eugenics represents a distressing chapter in the history of racial discrimination and reproductive rights.

In the United States, eugenic sterilization laws were implemented in various states, primarily between the 1920s and 1970s. Black women were disproportionately affected by these policies, as they were subjected to coerced or forced sterilizations without their full consent or knowledge. From 1950 to 1966, black women were sterilized at more than three times the rate of white women and more than 12 times the rate of white men.

The eugenic sterilization of black women stands as a stark reminder of the systemic racism and discrimination embedded in the history of reproductive healthcare. It underscores the importance of vigilance in safeguarding individual rights, ensuring informed consent, and challenging biased practices.

Sterilizing Children through Gender-Affirming Care

Gender dysphoria, a condition where one’s gender identity differs from the sex assigned at birth, can be experienced by children and adolescents. Gender-affirming care aims to alleviate distress and support individuals in their gender identity by providing a range of treatments, including puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and surgical interventions such as double mastectomies and the removal of reproductive organs which results in permanent sterilization.

An ethical question arises when discussing the ability of children and adolescents to provide informed consent for sterilization procedures. In most jurisdictions, the legal age of consent for medical procedures is typically higher than the age at which gender-affirming care is initiated. This raises concerns about the capacity of minors to fully comprehend the long-term implications of sterilization and to make informed decisions considering its long-term negative consequences. Protecting them from potential harm is a challenging ethical endeavor.

Thank you for this wonderful article, please keep up your good work! If we all keep saying the truth, the world will eventually have to listen. God, please help us in this struggle for our children, our grandchildren and all young people who are hurting during these trying days. Help us to expose the utter evil behind this horrible ideology. In Jesus' holy name. Amen. Love, Indio

You are correct!! We have to fight the Beast where it counts. We need the ones who are ditransitioning tell their stories to a National level and in Government committees and speaking up about what really is going on here, mainly experimentation, nothing new by the way. Berlin in the 1930 was the place of all these atrocities and change sex surgeries were already performed there but now they are targeting the children and cancelling the parents that fight back so we live in a society that everybody have rights but not the parents?? Is this a case of discrimination??

I'm praying every day that all the people involved in this medical experimentation on our children will be persecuted. I have 3 grandchildren in publics schools in AZ thank God I feel they are safer over there and my daughter is very aware and alert about this ideology thank God🙏 My son 20yo, her brother started this horrible medicalization in College, but by the grace of God we are little by little pulling him away from this diabolical forces. I encourage everyone that reeds my post, if you are Catholic, pray the rosary every day. If you are not, God loves you, do not dispair, He wants to have a relationship with you. I truly believe God wants this nation to come back to Him. He gives us our children to protect them, to guard them. I know we some times feel defeated, I know some times we think it's over. It is not. That’s what the devil wants us to think, to feel. Do not give him what he wants. Do not give up on your child, if you don't how to pray the rosary look it up online or on youtube, you will not regret it. God bless you 🙏

Aren't they ending the Board of Education?

There also an "Agency" with no authority over Executive Orders

Wpath is funded by members and is junk science. Let them try because any harm physically, mentally, psychologically they can be held accountable 10 years after the child turns 18. But a lot of legalities and more research to do to know definitively all the technicalities Nation and Worldwide

Canada is worse than the U.S. Mia Hughes, Billboard Chris and Amy Hamm are the three names that come to mind. All are pushing back against the gender cult. Please comment and share any other names and groups pushing back in Canada.

Yes. WPATH is the root cause of everything, and that root is rotten through and through. It and its sinister policies must be eradicated. Everything else is window dressing.

Creating a legal association for homosexuals happened in the late 80s when the 1st Lavender Law Conference was held. AIDS helped rally the masses for the cause leading to institutionalization. This was the doormat that allowed TQ+ to be tacked onto LGB. They are tied together like kryptonite with heavy corporate backing. Initiatives like the Family Acceptance Project, Gender Spectrum, and Gender Diversity began to roll around the year 2000. Acceptance at all costs LGB or TQ+ or your child is being traumatized -and it is your fault -is how it has gone for decades now. This leaves any Christian world view out of the equation and the child has morphed into the property of the state.

Behind the rainbow agenda is a social determinants model of healthcare (SDOH)where sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) are manipulated for corporate interests in things like artificial reproduction technologies, surrogacy, gametogenesis and beyond.

Adding that a study dubbed "Hatred in the Hallways" was initiated in the year 1999. It would ultimately be housed in the US Dept of Justice and the UN. The study looked at identity right when new identity politics was picking up steam and and being institutionalized in medicine and education. The study looked at LGBT identities in US schools. There were whopping 8 trans id'ed kids - ones no doubt being provided new language to describe their confusion. The study was backed by a plethora of activists many who had gained their status over AIDS initiatives.

Identities and politics are a marriage for corporate interests and America's children fair game.

the study (which can no longer be found on the Dept of Justice website):

At this point, people who live in places like Oregon, Washington, California and Minnesota, may not be able to get much relief from trans allies and their aggression. The gender critical movement is pretty much dependent on political support from the Trump admin and from Republicans in "red states." The blue state politicians, most of their Democrat constituents, and the medical profiteers will organize against challenges to their malignant laws.

Yes, I know, and I am sad to know it. I live in Oregon now and lived in Michigan previously. Michigan was similar to Oregon: it had a few cities and university towns that were highly “liberal,” but the rest of the state was conservative. People who live in small towns and rural areas of these states are effectively disenfranchised.

The Michigans board of education recently approved new health education standards to start teaching gender identity in Middle School.

Some schools have policies set to use students preferred pronouns/names and give them access to the facilities and sports they identify with.

WTF ! I was hoping we were getting closer to this evil ending.

So the US Secretary of State has announced it is a Human right violation to chemically alter or surgically mutilate a child.

Shouldn't this set precedent Internationally?

It's in violation of the Nuremberg Code and any WPATH member in support should be hung or imprisoned for life.

DJ, I'm pretty sure WPATH is still backed by schools, colleges, universities, and politicians. Because, who runs the the Secretary of Education? A big time Democrat, who runs universities, colleges, Socialism. Who runs the schools? Unions, the teachers. The governor of Illinois is deep in the profiting $$$ from gender ideology. So whether you like it or not this is a political issue and Democrats are in bed with WPATH.

I'd have to research more but SOS sets precedent in the US & International and any agency condoning harm to children especially Human rights violations would have consequences. There's also executive orders in place for CRIMES against humanity and children.

The States have own laws so should check, but there's International consequences such as sanctions on other countries.

It's a lot of research to understand the legalities & I'm just trying to understand it all myself.

It sure seems like Nuremberg 2.0 to me and hopefully there will be prison, asset seizure, hanging, etc....

We cannot win lawsuits against trans because trans is now public policy. The courts will say that public policy determines the law, and so judge our complaints to be invalid.

The courts will never help us to fight against trans.

This is all amazing information. Scary!!! Is there a letter we can send to our politicians so they will listen. I find writing the letters the hardest part as I don’t know as much as you guy do.

Having a template letter with link to articles and reviews (CASS) and I sentence summary would help a lot.
