Let your daughter/pretend son figure out how to pay for college on her own - especially as she expects you to pay her way without any accountability to your thoughts, feelings and wisdom. Enabling won't help her it just keeps her insulated from the truth of this nonsense and perpetuates the destructive fantasy.
