UPDATE three months later

After much struggle and 15 months stonewalling from law enforcement, the Tennessee Star has made great progress breaking this story.

https://tennesseestar.com/covenant-school-shooting-investigation/

They have obtained 80 pages of Audrey Hale's writings and are carefully sifting through them — to the dismay of the TN legal system, which keeps trying to shut this all up.

TLDR: It looks like trans *IS* the root of Audrey’s rage. This young woman was a sick, angry mess. She appears to have been full of psych meds. The Tennessee Star has a list of 5 medications she was prescribed. So far it is unclear whether she was also full of hormones. She had been a psych patient at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from age 6 (six!) to 28. She told her therapist that she wanted to kill her father and shoot up her middle school. That raises the question, what did VUMC do about it? What liability could Vanderbilt face?

The Star's reporting shows that yes, Audrey was driven half mad by her trans identification. The other half was already mad.

The Audrey Hale case is horrific, and what little we have learned at this point is every bit as bad as we feared months ago. Follow the Tennessee Star for more updates, and support them as law enforcement continues to harass them. And pray for all of our trans-identified kids.

In light of yesterday's sentencing, "The Crumbleys' sentencing marks an American first, as they are the first parents to be charged and convicted on charges related to the mass shooting perpetrated by their child, then 15-year old Ethan Crumbley, who killed four of his classmates. The Crumbleys each received 10 to 15 years in prison after being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter for what prosecutors say was their gross negligence in helping facilitate their son's shooting rampage.

"It sends a message to really listen to your children," Beausoleil said of the sentence. "There should be accountability for every action that we have."

your plea is all the more important.

“…we are stuck in a gray zone between loss and wholeness.” Sadly, this is the truth. Since we do not know what the outcome will be 5-10 years from now for all the children/young adults who have become guinea pigs and are on cross-sex hormones we may be facing a serious war. I worry about the thousands of mutilated children/young adults who will wake up and realize that they were duped into believing a lie - will we have a mass suicide on our hands? We need all the help we can get to help our confused children caught in this trans-cult so we can try to protect them from themselves. The truth is that Audrey suffered from mental illness and no one helped this child, or recognized the pain, anguish and torment going on inside her mind. It is heartbreaking and frightening for all of us because we just do not know what could trigger another incident, another loss of life. We need to educate the world about this dangerous cult and stop pretending that this is normal. It is anything but normal. It is deadly.

And now there is Ye in Rockland, Maryland. But, she was stopped. I suspect that without "T" these girls would be less violent.

Gender ideology is clearly the new definition of EVIL. I've never seen ANYTHING as malignant and demonic as this in my 77 years on this planet !! God help us all 🙏🙏🙏💔🤮

No, he’s an adult. My therapist thinks and I concur that he has a personality disorder.

Expand full comment

Oh my gosh! This is something that I totally fear because I really feel that my son will do anything for attention and after his new “trans” personality gets old, will he do something else more extreme? I really feel that he has.a personality disorder and no one around him acknowledges this, they think we , his parents, are in the wrong for saying we don’t agree with his trans nonsense. Scary time for us all.

Have you discussed with a mental health professional your concern about the possiblity of your son having a personality disorder? Is he still in school? Schools are very keen to preventing shootings now and many have staff to talk to students and parents. Please alert the school.

Yes. Thank you. T is known to cause violent mood swings in girls and women when they first start taking it. Was this a factor in Hale's case? We don't know without information from the family or the diary.

Excellent Reuters citation, and actually that number is way low since it doesn't include families that pay out of pocket or kids that are getting hormones illegally (believe it or not there are trans activists who publicly offer their help getting illegal hormones).

Thank you Hazel-rah!

Correct, Reuters probably does undercount the true total. (below) That article is their best effort at reconstructing the truth, and the first analysis of its kind, because ***gender clinics don’t publish data*** about their patients.

“Reliable national data on how many children receive care for gender dysphoria ... have long been unavailable. To get some idea of the increasing prevalence of these cases, Reuters asked health technology company Komodo Health Inc to analyze its database of U.S. insurance claims and other medical records on about 330 million Americans. ... These numbers are probably a significant undercount since they don’t include children whose records did not specify a gender dysphoria diagnosis or whose treatment wasn’t covered by insurance.”

Yes! And if Jamie Reed's article on the monkey business going on with insurance coding in US gender medicine is any guide, there are a LOT whose "records don't specify a gender dysphoria diagnosis", since providers will switch the codes to help patients' families when they find out that experimental gender treatments aren't covered.

Dearest POTIK, thank you for writing for open-ness in the releasing of diaries/manifestos from people committing shootings. Do we not have a right to know what is driving these horrific happenings? Why the drastic methods used to cover up the knowledge that could be used in prevention of such acts? This is lockstep along with the everything else involving the trans cult coverups. Thank you, also, for your Note #4, (from Reuters), as shocking as these figures are, It does not include my three adult grandchildren. They started their journey into madness back in 2014 with the first one at age 18, and the other two followed as young adults in approx. 2018. (They are now 28, 33 and 35) Is there no tracking when this cult began? We are ten years in. Though my grandchildren do not communicate with me, they are in my prayers always. How long will it be before there is an implosion, or an explosion in my family alone? As much as I love each one of these, my beloveds, I know they are mentally ill, and by now maybe physically impacted by the drugs they have forced into their bodies. We, and the world, have the right to know what is happening. I appreciate you doing your part in advocating for the truth.

Love, Indio

Thanks for bringing up this important issue. We know, the drug companies know, and the providers know that these drugs cause aggressive behaviors. It is no secret. I also implicate this drug in the rise in "chest masculinzation" procedures.

Testosterone comes in a myriad of forms including patches, pellets, injectables and others. Without going into much detail even patches used by males pose significant risk to nearby females.

See: https://www.drugs.com/mtm/androgel-packets.html

"Topical testosterone is absorbed through the skin and can cause side effects or symptoms of male features in a child or woman who comes into contact with AndroGel Packets. Call your doctor if a person who has close contact with you develops enlarged genitals, premature pubic hair, increased libido, aggressive behavior, male-pattern baldness, excessive body hair growth, increased acne, irregular menstrual periods, or any signs of male characteristics."

From Abbvie androgel patches:

"...serious psychiatric manifestations, including major depression, mania, paranoia, psychosis, delusions, hallucinations, hostility and aggression."

The stuff is a Class III Controlled Substance because of the abuse by users.

"9.2 Abuse Drug abuse is intentional non-therapeutic use of a drug, even once, for its rewarding psychological and physiological effects." -From https://www.drugs.com/mtm/androgel-packets.html

Side effects in innocent bystanders? My god. I wrote this article and I didn't realize this stuff was this dangerous. Thank you.

Again, we know what T does to males, who are designed to have it and socialized to have it: among other things, it creates a 15:1 sex ratio in adolescent-onset delinquency and a 50:1 sex ratio in homicide perpetrators. What are we doing, feeding this to females?

Then there's the whole issue of psych meds, which many of these kids use, too.

Expand full comment

Yes. It is also not just blockers, hormones, and psyche drugs. There is hair loss meds for females and HIV drug are also prescribed. I am sure there are others. Any one of these drugs can cause significant harm. Thanks for the great article.

I recall seeing some pictures of the diary very soon after the shooting. In it, Hale railed against private school boys and "faggots." The bizarre thing was that at my school, just a couple days after this massacre, the entire student body was required to observe a moment of silence for the "Trans Day of Remembrance" (which I believe had just been rebranded from Trans Day of Vengeance) for the supposed large numbers of the trans people who are murdered. Not a word was mentioned about this massacre.

Oh great now I have to worry that my daughter is going to kill someone on top of all the other trans bullshit? I never thought of this.

I heard awhile ago maybe 5 years ago that Alberta was having many male to female gender changes coming through for people's Driver Licenses. Apparently, young men were claiming a recent female gender mostly because their insurance rates were lessened. There was no politically correct to make inquiries whether this change was supervised by a doctor or whether it was a 'scam' to reduce insurance premiums.

Expand full comment

This is so good. It points to yet another casualty of ideological capture: the consequences of questions not allowed to be asked, studies not allowed to be done. In addition to the potentially alarming effects of T on female behavior, there are those liver tumors revealed (unintentionally) by the WPATH Files. What will the Endocrine Society have to say for itself?

Thank you, Jenny! That’s how I feel: intelligent, kind people can figure out a lot - if you let them, if you give them the information they need.

Dosing mentally ill females with psych meds and aggression juice is nightmarish. But as long as we can talk about it, we can figure this out.

I hate this policy of silence and obfuscation and hope it backfires.

Transgenderism is clearly a religion. Jesus rose from the dead. A man can become a woman. Both are examples of a kind of magical thinking protected in the US by the First Amendment as is my belief as an atheist that they are religious nonsense.

Nitpick: I think Ibram X. Kendi is obnoxious and spreads racial division, but putting the guy’s legal name in scare quotes seems kind of rude. His birth name is Ibram Henry Rogers, and he changed his middle and last names when he got married. Are you going to put other people’s names in scare quotes too, if they changed them when they got married?

Regardless of the reason why someone changed their name, I think acting like someone’s legal name is somehow illegitimate is needlessly impolite. If I say, “Ellen Page was nominated for Best Actress,” that’s a true statement. If I say, “She has now declared a trans identity,” that’s a true statement, because she’s always going to be female. If I say, “Elliot Page wrote a memoir”? As much as we may dislike the reason behind her name change, that’s equally as true as the other statements.

Anyway. I would be hugely unsurprised if testosterone has a lot to do with violence from FtM people.

Kendi is a grifter and he should be exposed for all of his nonsense....including name change. BU is paying dearly for their "faith" in this individual and his racist, anti-racist agenda.

Expand full comment

Eh, some of our favorite activists get paid a salary by a university, publish books and do paid speaking gigs too. It's not a problem in itself, but it does tend to change the way they approach their activism.

Expand full comment

Exposed for his name change? It’s not like it’s secret information. He’s a legally competent American adult, and as such, he’s entitled to legally change his name.

Expand full comment

Henry Rogers sounds....just so generic. Ibram X. Kendi sounds like it would sell a lot more books related to his activism. Sorry, but the man is a grifter and stirs up a whole lot of trouble with his profiteering disguised as activism.

Expand full comment

As long said originally, I’m not a fan of the guy. I just think it’s needlessly petty to act like someone’s legal name isn’t their “real” name, just because you don’t like that they changed it. If my friend Anne Smith changes her name when she marries Jack Jones, and I hate this because I think Jack is a complete asshole, I’m still not going to refer to Anne as “Anne Jones” (Anne Smith), like her name is fake and needs scare quotes. It’s her legitimate name whether I like it or not.

Kendi’s birth name *isn’t* Henry Rogers, either. His first name has always been Ibram and his birth name is Ibram Henry Rogers. I don’t see the point in not treating him like *every other person* who legally changed their name and acknowledging that it’s his current legal name.

according to https://sexeducationcollaborative.org/states/california

"Sex education instruction must be medically accurate."

this implies that sex curricula for youth should include complete and scientifically neutral information about the potential 'side' effects of testosterone, estrogen, puberty blockers, and surgery.

I think mentioning the side effects is considered hate speech.

what is the line of reasoning showing that science is hate speech?

I listened to an interview with a librarian in the podcast Heterodorx who said librarians do not order so-called gender critical books because they consider them to be misinformation. Good luck finding a book like Bob Ostertag’s Sex Science Self in a library or even in a bookstore. An article was recently published in an academic journal advising clinicians not to encourage pregnant women on T to stop taking it, because doing so would demonstrate bias in favor of infants with normal genitals (without birth defects).

not all journals are excellent and not all peer reviews are critical

That's for sure. In fact, I think the authors of the journal article did not even have a medical background, so it was pure ideology. I wish I could remember which journal published it.
