Male presenting homosexual males are not closeted cross dressers, they are not forced by society to wear non confusing clothing. Clothing is just to cover ones body not to express sexuality. Sexuality is something to express by an adult in their bedrooms and not to wear it in public especially since it does not lead to better outcomes in romance, relationships and many other areas of real life. As maturity comes this realization leads to desistence as it is a lot easier to be self contented without worrying about stereotypical appearances. Be chill about self and not brood over what one can never become.
