Wow. This essay gave me goosebumps. My son left…. Twice….And returned… but still thinks he is supposed to be female… with hormones and all. He thinks I’ve changed my mind on how I feel about it…although I haven’t said I have. I just don’t talk about it because I don’t want to lose the little I have with him for the third time. My heart couldn’t take it. Literally.
