I started speaking against this as soon my beloved only son declared his "womanhood", eleven years ago. I stood up to my professors who told me I "just wasn't educated yet" and my employer whose gender training forced me onto the side of the grass opposite the "allies". I denied every "friend" who admonished me to "just accept/affirm". As far as I'm concerned, they're all complicit in crimes against humanity. The potential grief over the loss of any of these people, who I don't actually miss at all, could never compare to the deep and unconditional love I have for my precious firstborn.
I'm so sorry for the re-traumatization your professors, employer, and "friends" put you through, as if watching your son embrace this madness weren't painful enough. Yes, it's our love for our children that keeps us going.
