Go on, you strong parent! It is brave people like you who will save our societies from this insanity. ❤️

Brilliantly said... I dare you to send it to them. I've said the exact thing to my parent support group only 2 days ago.... "Look at how ABC point blank refuse to listen". They were damming the labour MP who was telling Australia to stop this nonsense and Hilary Cass and lifting up Auspath trans leader and brad Hazzard for say ikng this is saving lives... i say Bullshit.... it isn't saving lives, it is utterly destroying them... One breast and one penis at a time.... it is nothing short of complete and utter devastatingly evil corruption on every level and heads must roll

What kind of weird parent support group is this you are referring to? Are you in a rainbow group? And yes, I did send it to the ABC, but I never expected them to do anything with it.

Oh...I didn't understand you. I thought you meant that the parent group were 'damning the Labour MP...and Hilary Cass...and lifting up Auspath trans leader....' and I wondered why you associated with them! Maybe you mean the ABC was doing these things...

Yes I defo meant the ABC... they are complete propagandists. They should be illegal. Lies in the mouths of media is a dangerous and powerful thing.

A very well written letter - I hope it will make a difference. You speak the truth and have excellent points. It took one whistle blower to bring the Tavistock clinic down. Perhaps one reader at ABC will have a conscience and really listen to what you have to say. We all play an important part in fighting this evil cult. Good job. Finger crossed.

I think it took a few more whistle blowers than one to bring the Tavistock GIDS down - maybe it was Susan Evans first? And it was many years before anything happened. But in our new environment, things could start tumbling quickly (I hope).

Sad what has become of Australia as a whole. I loved visiting it in the 80's and 90's. So relaxed and fun. No way I would go now.

BTW, I gave you a shout out this morning as I had quite a rant about trans issues.

Good article, Mr. Marshall. Thanks for sharing the link.

This is why this destructive ideology is so hard to fight. Our national broadcaster actively promotes it, even to children. When you try to tell people what's really going on, they don't believe you, because the trusty ABC says the opposite. You end up sounding like an unhinged conspiracy theorist, as well as a transphobic bigot. It's so depressing.

We will win. It is just going to take a bit of time. However, when things start to tumble, it could go quite fast. Interesting to see Labour backpedalling in the UK, and the Scottish govt crumbling.

Well said-Thank you! Couldn't agree more. Sending love, strength and courage. The truth will prevail.

I hope you did send your story, and that they will publish it. I sent mine to the Washington Post last week and they published it Sunday in the letters to the editor. So many similarities. Sending peace and hope to you, dear parent.

"If there was ever a time for extremism, it's in defense of your own children. Fear no one in defense of your children. Not the civil authorities. Fear no one. We can have civil debates about legislation and all that stuff. We cannot have a civil debate about my kids. They're my kids; they're not your kids."

Every word is our story too, Every single one. I will never get over how this medical scandal was allowed to happen. We are also in Australia. I wake every night areound 4am as well, and the first thing that comes into my head is our daughter. We don't know where she is. So much heartache, so much grief and so much anger.

Amazing letter, devastating story. My story is the same (in Australia too), although we are also dealing with child sexual assault which the drs apparently don’t find relevant.. but what do I know? I’m just the mum who spent years watching my daughter thrive in ballet, netball and girl guides before she fell apart… I was awake with you at 4am 😢

Public radio in the US has fallen into the same crap you describe with the ABC. I used to love listening to my local NPR station but now it is just a bastion of propaganda. Peter Boghossian did a great serries called All Things Re-Considered for all you former NPR fans out there. I really enjoyed and wish he would do more episodes. https://peterboghossian.com/all-things-reconsidered

I admire your eloquence and passion. I watched the exact same changes you mention, including the voice change and weight gain of about 50 pounds. In addition, I have noticed significant changes in emotion and thinking as years pass. I wanted to believe the Cass report and detransitoners would change views but I have talked to protrans people and I see zero impact in a liberal state. Maybe it will affect Gen A and other regions.

It is remarkable how similar all the sad sad stories are. And, the kids do not have to have a particular issue like autism or be gay to fall into this cult. They can merely be quirky and excessively naive. But, it is the "experts" who are most at fault. We need some sort of Nuremberg reckoning followed by Truth and Reconciliation.

That may be a long way off. Things are not improving in the US, not in the medical complex, not in the government, nor insurance, nor education, nor media, nor courts...

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit holds that that state health-care plans must cover transgender surgery.

WaPo reports.

Judge Roger Gregory, writing for the majority, called the restrictions “obviously discriminatory” based on both sex and gender....

[The] states insisted that there was no bias in their coverage limitations, only cost concerns; trans patients, they argued, were entitled only to the same health treatments as everyone else but not specialized care....

The court [wrote that] cost-cutting could not justify covering the same treatments for health concerns other than gender dysphoria. For example, the court noted, the contested plans covered mastectomies for cancer patients but not for trans women....

Mastectomies for cancer patients but not for trans women? Don't they mean mastectomies for cancer patients but not for trans men?! The Washington Post is having trouble keeping up, just like the people it looks down on." https://althouse.blogspot.com/
