It sounds like he found his strength and he will use it for good- he will be ok- it sounds like you’ve drawn a good line in the sand by not going along with this. Kids need that. Everyone else is shouting you can be what you want- which is not true. I’m sending my gender dysphoric daughter who is mostly giving it up.. to college in 2 weeks. I’m terrified. But I’m also excited for her as it’s a fresh start. You aren’t alone- I’ll be awake worrying as well.
