An issue of personal importance to my wife and I are the issues swirling around transgender children. We have experienced this first hand with one of our daughters. If you are ever interested in hearing the details behind our journey, we would be happy to share them with you. From the outset, when our daughter first started to speak about gender dysphoria we were immediately told by therapists to affirm her as a boy. No questions asked - "Do you want a dead daughter or a living son?" was how we were told to guide our behavior. It was a shock to us as she had never displayed any dysphoria or any stereotypically boyish behaviors in the past. In fact, her trajectory from feminine presenting and boy crazy to bisexual to lesbian to transgender was completed in a matter of weeks when she was 15 years old. After our initial shock wore off, we began to look into our daughter's personal issues and also the macro-level issue surrounding transgenderism.
Thank you for taking up the battle against the trans cult’s shock troops, the corporate media. Though the task of changing their minds seems futile, we need to rattle their cage every chance we get.
Suggesting only that you reconsider your centerleft positions and affiliation with a political party, especially Democrats. The Republicans have been no help in preventing this trans disaster, but it’s the Democrats who have led the charge. Remember how Schumer made it a point to display a “trans” at Trump’s inauguration? I am not saying Republicans are any different as far as taking responsibility for failures, but this one is on the Dems. So either they figure out how to pin this on Russia or China or they are going to have to lose very badly in the next election cycle, maybe the next two.
This is not just an American issue, so blaming one of your political parties is bizarre. Believe it or not, there is a world outside your Republican vs. Democrat mindset. And our children are suffering from this medicalised abuse too.
I can only use my political influence, minuscule as it is, where I have it. I recognize that we do at least have one party not controlled by the trans agenda, not everyone is so lucky. And since we only have two parties with one pushing it and one fighting it, it makes total sense to focus on weakening the party pushing it and supporting the party pushing back. In my own state the Republican Governor recently made puberty blockers, cross sex hormones and gender surgeries illegal for minors.
VP Harris recently went on a rainbow tour of Africa trying to strong arm them into joining the parade. They were not biting as apparently they can get aid from China without having to change their laws and culture. I watched a clip of the president of Ghana letting the US have it. He was pretty impressive on the hypocrisy of the US teaching Africans values, as though they don’t have their own.
I do pay attention to what is happening in other countries. I know in Canada it’s even worse than here. Parents have been jailed for child abuse for misgendering their own child. And yet Finland and Sweden have shut it down, transitioning children at least. The Tavistock was shut down. The UK is also cutting ties with organizations like Mermaids. I think a particular challenge here that they don’t have, is a for profit healthcare system. I find the UK interesting as they have made these positive changes and yet the wrong tweet will get you a visit from the police.
As has been pointed out by others, transgender “rights” has not been a bottom up movement. It’s been top down and so looking for ways to take on the political power supporting it at the top is important IMO. It is also a Western phenomenon and more and more is becoming public about the WEF’s role in this and I pay attention.
Why would the government of the US sacrifice global relationships over transgenderism? Why this? It makes no sense. Why destroy relationships with African countries even more and basically hand them to China and Russia and then rail against China and Russia for their growing influence? I put plenty of blame on doctors, teachers, mental health workers and activists. I have written letters and spoken to them directly. I sent information to my daughter’s pediatrician and I feel certain she never even looked at it. They don’t want to know. Or they already know and don’t choose to act.
My therapist is part of a large medical system and has been candid about how nobody is even willing to discuss it. He tells me he will lose his job if he challenges the affirmation model. Many of them are really being held hostage. Teachers also are fired for challenging the affirmation model. If I were part of those systems, if I worked in medicine or education or mental health I might have a way to fight from the inside. But I don’t.
I would be happy to be wrong. I just don’t see it happening with this one. I mean we are talking about people who are participating in what is basically the neutering of vulnerable children and young people for profit and politics. It is a medical experiment on such a large and egregious scale. And the victims are not hidden away as were, for example, the victims who suffered lobotomies. They are showing up at statehouses and putting their stories online.

As someone who was diagnosed with five mental illnesses, I know a little about the subject. I know that with proper medication and extensive Cognitive Behavior Therapy, we can live happy, healthy lives. CBT therapy is critical because it helps correct thoughts about ourselves.
Example: I called myself STUPID for dropping stuff. I now say, God gave me brains and beauty; so He figured I could accept a serious lack of coordination.
Example 2: I like doing guy stuff so I must be a guy. Now I say, God gave me tremendous creativity and mechanical aptitude; so I really enjoy working with power tools and building stuff.
Reframing the thoughts that we tell ourselves makes an incredible difference in how happy we are.
Nuance of argument is no longer allowed and perhaps this is just one more example of the dumbing down of society. We, as parents, are recognizing a theme and we would like some answers. Why is this happening disproportionately to teenage girls on the spectrum for autism, many have a high IQ, and most have underlying mental health issues?
