"I imagine a once compliant yet quirky child who was tempted to go down the rabbit hole of “trans.” A space where predators and online influencers eagerly lure them with enticing reasons for their distress and inability to fit in. I imagine them being drawn into dark and demonic places I wish to have never come to know. A place where a cult mind virus twists their thinking and lures them into a world that promises answers for an inconceivable price. I imagine them making their way down that pathway where few know of its depravity until it begins to display itself in forms of death and destruction. Death to self first and, if sustained and entertained long enough, a desire for death to others."

Wow, this really nails it. Definitely a cult mind virus. We must all pray against this.

I'm not a parent, but a grandmother of a 'trans' person. Our grandson decided at 25 he was really a women and has been socially and medically transitioning for 2 1/2 years now. He really struggled through our long and harsh lockdowns ( we live in Melbourne, Australia), and he seems to think changing his name and pronouns and wearing women's clothes is the answer. He just looks ridiculous. We refuse to go along with this nonsense, insisting that he is and always will be a male. This is heartbreaking enough, but our daughter is all in with the cult narrative, so we have lost her as well. At this point our relationship with our granddaughter is hanging by a thread. This evil has split our family. Our focus now is to protect our other 4 grandchildren.

I’m so sorry. Thanks for sharing. Sadly there’s often ally siblings. Having come alongside families for 10 years now, these siblings frequently come to the realization that this isn’t the salvation hoped for as they watch their sibling’s mental and physical health decline along with their ability to function in society. It took well over five years in our family but they now see it.

I too want Trump to win to stop the trans train.

I still am in shock after 2 1/2 years of living with the knowledge that my smart, sweet married son fell into this cult. I don’t understand how this happened.

I was a good mom and I pray the Dear Lord opens my son’s heart and breaks through with his love and brings him home to our family. Jesus I trust in you.

For those asking for specifics about the murder here is the article I found on Google

https://www.kimt.com/news/top-stories/margot-lewis-charged-with-stabbing-killing-minneapolis-woman-after-sordid-relationship/article_dc92ee9e-3424-11ef-b799-eb3c4a53ae49.html

The victim is on Facebook with the profile name Liara Kaylee Tsai.

https://roseberrys.com/obituary/liara-kaylee-tsai/

He was 14 when his father died at the age of 58. I couldn’t find an obit for his mom.

Thank you for your article. I'm so sorry for what was done to your child. I wish you and your child the best possible outcome: sooner than later.

I would like to ask you and other authors here to provide more specifics, please.

First, as a lesbian feminist, I would like to look up who the man who committed the murder and was recently reported in the news as a lesbian, as this is harmful to kesbians, and is distressing to read about here without knowing any specifics to allow me to take action or share the information. Women and lesbians need to be able to know and follow this. If you would at least provide the state, and the date of the murder or his arrest, or any other information so I can look it up, I would appreciate it. It's upsetting amd depressing to read alarming, vague information without knowing what the crime and incident details are, so I can act, and share it with others who can also

act. Reading things like that without knowing the specifics causes distress, without being able to take action to relieve any of that distress. It encourages a feeling of helpless victimization and dread. Thwre are a lot of articles on here that are distressing that I encourage us to be vicinity instead of taking action.

Imagine if at the end of every article here if the author provided one newspaper or politician we could write to, with an email and sample one-sentence letter?

The sex-deniers are taking action and rolling right over women, parents, and kids, by taking action. If we want this to stop, we must stop it by taking at least a brief action, preferably ideally every time we read another travesty.

It is empowering to know the specifics, to have the option to act.

Second, I have been reading for years vague references to online sites where children are being groomed into this madness.

Yet when I've requested it, no one has provided me with even one specific site, let alone a link to a specific example of that happening on that site.

That's not sufficient.

Again, others and I can only credible report on this occurring, to wake up gender identity believers, if we see this with our own eyes and have a link to provide to one or more specific incidents of this occurring.

I have had people respond worthlessly with, "Oh, it's everywhere. Just look." Or, "It's on every LGBT site, or the XYZ site (some massive national LGBTQ site), just look," without linking me to anything specific.

So please forgive me if I'm becoming wary that this is an urban legend, perhaps based on q one-pff or rare occurrence, which people keep repeating without having seen themselves.

If it's true, anyone, please show me woth a link.

How are we to take action raising awareness with gender-believing people if we can't cite examples of what we claim is happening?

To the author, and anyone else here, please provide links to one or more specific examples of the child grooming into a sex-denying identity to which you refer here.

Let's provide specifics so we can shift to taking action and not let these sex-denier bullies keep harming kids, qnd instead discredit this cult to help bring your kids home.

I'm sure it's gut-wrenching for parents to write these essays. But if we want to stop this, whether for one's own child, or anyone else's, every time we read an article, or write one, it would help if each of us were to provide at least one specific that allows us to take a specific action, such as looking up a crime or writing a letter.

Thank you.

I'm sorry if I sound harsh to the author-mom here. I just want us to win.

I'm going to respond about sites -- you can sign up for a medium dot com anonymous userid, select your interests including LGBTQ+ and start reading about trans. The algorithm has gotten better in the past two years, but it fed only the TQ+ stuff prior to that if I even started reading 1 article on it. ( I have created several anonymous profiles throughout the years. My first one got censored because I responded to someone who wrote about her trans ASD "lived experience" which was a bunch of BS. ) I was shocked at how quickly and frequently the content was fed to me via emails and going onto the site. The indoctrination that happens because of the constant "lived-experience" articles fed to a young, vulnerable mind is enough to cause those individuals to start identifying as trans. If you read anything about cults - the reiteration effect can cause people to believe false information or induce them into cults. This is what happened to my son.

I also know that he was also in contact with a male who also helped groom him into the id. My son was in contact with a therapy based website on autism. He self-id as autistic at the same time trans came about. Imagine my anger when I discovered the male who responded to a Quora response my son had written is a co-founder of the autism site and since has come out as trans. His wife is the therapist/co-founder.

Tangentially, yet related. If you look at NCOSE website which is an org that is advocating to pass legislation to restrict teen access to porn and adults contacting children has been influenced by LGBTQ+ organizations to change their bill. They say this - https://endsexualexploitation.org/articles/bigtechbs-how-tech-lies-about-child-safety-and-the-needs-of-lgbtq-youth/. It's less than transparent what was changed, but we parents know that our kids are being groomed by those much older than they are in discord, Tumblr, etc. And there is nothing we can do about YA access to this.

Will I give you specifics links about my son? No. I am trying to protect my family, just as I suspect we all are.

You are welcome to create anonymous accounts and pretend to be a YA and see what experiences you have and report back on it.

Coming back to complete my response. You made some good and viable points. I’m not offended at all and so grateful for your desire to take action. Our son was groomed on Tumblr. (We had asked who was “helping” him back in 2014.) He suddenly disappeared six months later. Our connection with the human trafficking hotline basically left us with these points: It does sound like he’s been trafficked. This is so common. There is nothing that can be done unless one can prove he wants out.

YA = young adult - 18-25 yrs. At 25, we hope that the brain has fully developed and matured, but it seems the cult arrests that development. :-(

I had thought about creating anonymous accounts and bait groomers, but I don't have the mental space to do so nor do I want to spend countless hours trying to learn platforms and the ecosystem such as anime, tech, and gaming. I think if you can find friends/family who are on discord or Tumblr to teach you would be the best.

GenCrit, I agree that it would be helpful to provide specifics. I don't know what specific violent crime the writer is referring to, so a link would be helpful. As for grooming, a quick Google search turned up the following websites. Sadly, there are many more. I can well imagine a confused kid in school, complete with Pride month and trans flags, who learns about gender identity and is asked to "share pronouns". He or she discovers content similar to what I have posted below and enters the trans rabbit hole.

I went back to look at the first one, and it creeped me out so much again, I had to close out of it within seconds. Do you feel similar about that first site you listed, please? I mean, truly frightened and sickened.

Oh how true and how painful. The only thing that keeps me steady is my faith in Jesus. I did not have this faith when my son fell in the trans ideology. I went deep in to a pit of despair and then asked Jesus for help and He showed up. I often feel my son's life could end tragically. My son is in the pit of despair, chasing a mirage. I do know Jesus can meet him there and save him as He saved me. Keep praying and I know what ever happens Jesus has us all in His hands.

This hellish cult needs to be exposed. Thanks for your contribution.

I think often about the parents of children who grow up to commit violent crime. Especially those who have been seduced by crazy-making ideologies. I think about the FTM trans shooter at the Christian school in Tennessee who killed 4 and the terrible manifesto she left behind. Sadly, I think we will see more of this from young adults filled with hatred of themselves and the world. I pray for the victims’ families and for the family of the criminal. I believe that the love of Jesus displayed at the cross and his victorious resurrection will have the last word, that even in this life we can sometimes have welcome glimpses of good coming from the destructive ashes of evil, such as reconciliation of broken relationships or finally seeing the truth from the murkiness of lies. For those interested in Christian theology, you know how Satan has his evil imitations of God (the dragon, beast and anti-Christ like an unholy Trinity in the book of Revelation and other parallels). I recently read somewhere that the trans movement could be seen as Satan’s evil counterfeit of becoming “a new creature in Christ” or being “born again”. Trying to remake the self into something totally new and different by cutting and drugs, both features as well of pagan religions in their worship (ie priests of Baal cut themselves on top of Mt Carmel) and both Old and New Testament celebrate moderate drinking of wine (who knows what the alcohol content was) but “much wine” and drunkenness is clearly forbidden. So the prohibition is on changing one’s mental state with drugs.

Satan’s counterfeits always lead to death and destruction. I pray those on that path will turn from it before it’s too late. That their eyes will be opened to the path they are on.

Thank you! My thoughts exactly; been living with this ‘trans’ nightmare for seven years now; doesn’t get any better but I have hopes because God is good. In the mean time, we love on our TIK as much as we can, keep her occupied as much as we can and gently reason with her so as not to add to her mental distress.

May God bless us all and save our children🙏❤️
